Chapter 6

It was Saturday morning. It had been a week since Daniel and jai had the 'agreement' to let jai see me. It was so stupid and didn't even take long. Sometimes I just wish Daniel wasn't so protective, I mean I love having someone there to protect me but he is way too much and sometimes I can't handle it. I was back at school with Elise,kasha,liv and the boys and I was happy as ever, moving to Melbourne was the best decision my mum ever made. I still see Gracie roaming around the school and she still gives me dirty looks but she would dare start on me again considering last time I almost broke her nose, I loved the fact that she knew jai was with me and she couldn't do anything about it.

My phone buzzed so I looked at it to see I had a message *text from Livvie*

"Hey Ellie, the boys are throwing a party tonight over at james' house and everyone is invited, you want to come?"

"Uh, yeah sure, I haven't got any clothes for a party though?"

"It's okay, we'll take you shopping for one"

"Oh, okay thanks, meet me at the clock tower at 12, and tell the girls"

"Okay x"

I wondered why jai didn't tell me about it but I just dismissed it to the back of my mind and got ready to get in the shower.

I decided to wear skinny jeans, black vans and a black and white striped top, I done my usual make up and straightened my hair. By the time I was finished it was 10 to 12 so I thought I would ask Daniel for a lift, I sped down the stairs and slid into the living room

'Hey daniel' I said In a cute voice

'Hi?' he said with a confused look

'You know you love me'

he huffed 'what do you want now'

'I really need a lift to the clock tower in town' I said with a hopeful face

He looked at me for a few seconds

'Ugh fine, get in the car'

'Yay, thankyou'

When we arrived, I undone the seat belt and went to open the door

'Ellie wait'

'Yeah?'

'Here you go' he reached into his pocket and gave me 40 dollars

'Woah Daniel, I have money'

'I know you do, I just want to give you more, anyway you want to impress that asshole jai so I thought you might want a nice dress' he winked

I punched him playfully and kissed him on the cheek 'thanks daniel'

I got out of the car and saw the girls standing at the clock tower

'Hey girls'

elise came to hug me and kasha and Livvie did the same

'So, I have about 80 dollars, is that enough to get a decent dress?'

'yes of course, come on let's go' kasha said

We walked into the shopping centre and i was amazed, it was so big and bright, better than any in England. we went into about 10 shops trying on all types of dresses, I mainly stuck to the skater dresses and so did kasha and Livvie, but Elise liked tight fitting dresses. I must have tried on about 15 dresses in total before I chose the right one, it was a black skater dress, fitted lace at the top and it came out at the bottom just, thigh length and then the waist band had a belt with a sparkly bow on it. Elise bought a black lace fitted dress, kasha got a skater dress that was just plain maroon and Livvie got a dress that was a purple/plum colour.
