(first of all guys can I just thank you all for 1.2k reads, I know it may not seem a lot to some of you but it honestly means the absolute world to me, from now on I am going to ask for a certain amount of votes on each chapter so I can do an update and that way It will motivate me to write more, they are only going to be little goals at first and then hopefully the more votes I get the more reads I will get, but again, thank you everyone who has read so far, I am so so grateful, love you all, Ellie xox)
I woke up to Daniel bursting in my room, my head was pounding, probably from being up half the night with jai.
'Ellie, ellie?'
'Ugh what daniel?'
'have you got a hairbrush?' Is he actually serious, waking me up for a stupid hairbrush
'probably on my dressing table' I said trying to adjust my eyes to the light, Daniel turned around to face me.
'why is jai in your bed? and why is Charlie downstairs?' he looked confused
'it's a long story, I'll tell you later' I said pushing my face back into my pillow and dragging the cover over my head
'okay okay, I'll see you later' he left before I could say anything
As hard as I tried I just couldn't get back to sleep, I'm going to kill Daniel later. I turned around to see jai facing me. He looked so peaceful sleeping. I examined to bruises on his face and the cut on his lip, I really wish he didn't get into fights, I know for sure he didn't get jumped last night, that's bullshit, he will be explaining exactly what happened to him.
'Why are you staring at me? it's weird' he said with his eyes closed and in his raspy morning voice.
'I'm not staring at you, I'm looking at your bruises smart ass'
'bruises? that would explain why my face hurts so much'
great, he didn't even know he had bruises, I'll be lucky if he remembers anything, how drunk was he?
'you told me you got jumped'
'oh yeah' he said bluntly
'I know you're lying jai, tell me what really happened' I said concerned
'I told you, I got jumped, end of story'
'jai I-'
'I said end of story' he said darkly
I huffed and gave in, he wasn't going to tell me so there was no point in me even wasting my breath arguing. I wish he wasn't so stubborn all the time, it would make thinks so much easier.
'do you remember anything from last night?'
'I remember everything up until ordering a drink from the bar' Great, so he remembers Charlie 'so I remember that your ex is living with you'
shit.
'jai you know that's nothing to do with me, and you know I have no feelings towards him at all anymore right?'
'I suppose, but if he even tries to touch you Ellie I will smash his face in so hard that he won't even be able to recognise himself'
'woah that's a little too much don't you think? Jesus jai, do you have to be so violent' I was actually quite surprised by his choice of words
'when it comes to you, yea I do'
I looked at him coldly but then dismissed the subject
'so, Iv actually been waiting to ask you this and since it's the holidays and Luke and your mum will be home an-'
