The trap

Chapter 10

Nicos POV

Percy and I swam or the shore.

Well, more like he dragged me to the shore.

I AM A CHILD OF HADES I DO NOT NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SWIM.

er-sorry.

Anyways, Percy 'dragged' me to the shore and we climbed onto the concrete.

This was a weird island. The entire thing was made of concrete.

Kind of like a prison.

We stood up and kind of...just waited.

For what? I don't know...I suppose we hadn't really planned this far.

If only Annabeth were here.

"So...what now, Perce?" I asked.

He coughed and looked at me.

"I suppose we should find a way in..."

"Right. Ok. Come on." I grabbed his hand and we shadow travelled to one of the walls.

"warn me before you-" he began to yell but I cut him off by covering his mouth.

He nodded and we crept along the wall to what I presume is the entrance.

"Alrighty then, let's get her and get out." I began to reach for the handle but Percy slapped my hand away.

"Nico, something's wrong."

"What?"

"It shouldn't be this easy."

"What shouldn't be this easy?"

"Getting in!"

"So? Maybe this kidnappers just stupid," I said and reached for the handle only to be slapped again.

"Ouch! What?" I whisper/yelled at him, irritated.

"I think this is a trap."

"Ok, even if it is, we can't just sit here!"

We eventually made a compromise and decided to shadow travel inside, so we don't set off any triggers by opening the door.

We linked arms and Percy closed his eyes tightly.

I chuckled at his childishness and shadow travelled us inside.

We stopped in a room, but I stayed in the darkness so no one could see us.

I looked around and saw Luna tied up in the middle of the room, passed out and bleeding.

It took all of my willpower not to scream and run to her, because I knew it wouldn't be that easy.

Suddenly, a slender man (A/N no, not THE slenderman) walked into the room.

He walked up to Luna, and tapped her under the chin.

She opened her eyes wearily.

Good, she's still alive.

The man began to speak. "Hello sweetums!" He said in a sing-song voice that made me sick.

She looked too weak to reply, and simply groaned.

"Come on, dear little Luna, you wouldn't want me to punish you again." He smiled and balanced the tip of a knife on her leg.

Her eyes looked panicked as she looked down at the knife, and began to struggle against her bonds.

"Please! Why are you doing this?" She said.

"I've already told you, we've got to give your little boyfriend a show." He said, and looked straight at me.

I froze.

Lunas POV

I looked in the direction that Moriarty looked, but I didn't see anything.

"What?" I asked?

"Oh, nothing." He chuckled, and turned back to me.

"So, how about we play a game." He stood up and started pacing.

Well that came out of nowhere. "Excuse me?"

"Let's play a game, Luna! I am so very bored."

"Why would we play a game?" I asked.

"Because that's what people DO!" He yelled.

I hated it when he lost his temper, it made him even more terrifying.

"Ok, ok. What kind of game is it?" I asked.

He twirled his knife. "Oh, just a bit of twenty questions. I ask you something, and you answer truthfully. Or..."

"Or what?"

"Sebby!" He called. Sebastian came out with a selection of knives.

Of course. Why hadn't I seen this coming.

Moriarty didn't even wait for a reply before he started the game.

"What's your boyfriends name?" He asked.

"He is not my boyfriend." I said calmly.

"Wrong answer!" He called and Seb threw a knife.

I screamed as it whizzed past my head and stuck into a wooden platform behind me.

Moriarty laughed. "Good one, Sebby! You've got to admit that's sexier."

Seb was about to throw another knife when something came out of the darkness and tackled him.

I gasped.

It was Nico.

I hope you liked this chapter because I'm not very happy with it .-.

I'm so sorry it was so short and I would've kept going but I was really pushing the limits on the time I told you I was gonna post.

PLUS you guys will thank me for cutting it off here later on because it might lead to a little surprise *wiggles eyebrows*
