I got up, handed him the popcorn and sat down on the couch. I reached for the remote and started the movie.
Just after previews I notice Asher had moved on to the couch. I slipped down onto the floor and watched the movie.
Halfway through I started to get sore and tired. I reached down to rub the sore spot on my back Just as two hand lifted me into a lap.
I curled up in a ball wrapping my arms around Asher's neck and nuzzling my face in his chest. I soon dosed off to sleep.
Asher's POV
I looked down at her seeing she wasn't cozy so I picked her up and set her in my lap.
She looks so perfect and beautiful. I never knew my mom was right about this. How can someone love another person so much.
I can't let the guys find out about her of about this. This is so stressful.
I'm going to make more popcorn. I moved KZ off my lap and on the couch. Slowly standing up I got up and walked to the kitchen. Ok now ever so careful. I grabbed the bowl and shut the cabinet. Bang. The cabinet slammed closed. I piped my head up and looked at KZ to see if I woken her.
KZ POV
I woke up when I heard a crash. I quickly turned my head towards the kitchen. Asher's head popped up looking at me. Sorry he said with a shy look. Its ok I replied.
So your up now I see he said coming over to me. Yea what was that crash noise I asked. Oh that was the cabinet closing sorry he said. its fine I said.
He sat down next to me and cuddled up to me. I felt safe and secure in his arms.
I woke up on the couch with Asher poking my arm. Wake up Kenz Asher whispered. No I don't want to I wined.
Suddenly Asher picked me up and walked to the kitchen. I quickly latched my legs around Asher's waist and wrapped my arms around his neck.
Asher put me down I cried. Venom quickly looked at me and Asher. He growled as Asher placed a quick kiss on my forehead and set me down.
Buzz buzz venoms phone rang. I quickly picked it up and answered it.
Hi this is KZ who is this I asked. Kenzie !?! The voice boomed through the phone.
Its KZ and how did you know my name who are you I asked.
This is jack you don't know me but I knew your mom and dad from when you where a kid the guy said.
Ok well I'm passing you off now bye I said handing it to venom.
Venom walked in the other room as I sat down and ate my breakfast.
Minutes later venom came back in the room.
What was that about? Who's jack? How does he know you? What does he look like How old is he? Can I meet him? I asked.
It was about work. Jacks a friend from my childhood. We grew up together until he moved with me out here then left soon after. He looks like me and my same age. Um and maybe you can meet him someday venom replied.
Yay I said happily skipping off. I ran up stairs , took a shower and got dressed.
