Pains Of Another Dimension

Act 1 - Arrival

there once was a man named mike. i am that man... or i was. until the war came. now im in hiding. i cant say from what, becaue saying its name will only give it power. it all began 7 years ago at my family home. my family, all beautiful people, well, the ones i saw were. the night seemed so normal with everyone eventually retiiring for the night. but then, IT came. now theyre all gone and im stuck here in this broken down cyborg body. but not stuck for long, for i have a plan to get vengense.

i began by sailing to the land of Zoobmafoo. the dark tribal savages of this land know about how this being came into our peaceful world. as i landed on the sure, a large party of the natives came to greet me. one of them used a language i never herd before, so i attempted to comunicate with jestures. they pointed to me a large hut with their chieftin master, who wore a big hat with feathers on it. the chief seemed to know exactly why i was there and gave me a bowl filled with shiny liguid to drink from. i took a big sip of it and started seeing double. i fell over and collapsed, and everything went dark.

when i started coming to i was at the ridge of a large volcano, surrounded by dancing people who were naked and had leaves on their ankles and writs. i looked into the volacno and saw the lava stirring violently. but i leaned too far in, and slipped. as i fell, savages cheered and laughed and i screamed. i rolled down the rocks and landed in freezing cold water, with large chunks of ice floating in it. in the distance, i see a polar bear standing on two legs, staring at me. as i climbed out onto the ice, i saw the bear coming towards me, i quickly radied my weapons. the polar bear halted and said "i am no enemy of yours for we have the same enemy." i was startled by his deep man voice, and replied with a loud scream. "but you are bear! how can you speak? i dont have the cyborg attachment to let me hear animals!" the polar bear replied "i am no mere animal, i am from the same plane as the being that ravages your world." compeltely baffled i asked "what is this being, and how can i destroy it?" "I cannot tell you that yet, first you need to come with me, it is very very dangerous out here with the war going on."
