Maggie's pov

It's dark outside and there still not back

He did say that it might take a little longer

I sigh and decide to go take a walk

I throw a jacket on and step outside into the cool windy air

I walk around the town of Alexandria a couple of times

I decide to sit by the gate and wait for them

I climb the watch tower and I'm met with Rick

"Hey." I say with my southern accent

"Hey." He says

"Mind if I sit up here for a few minutes?" I ask

He shakes his head no and I nod

I sit down beside him

He usually doesn't take to many watches but since Glenn and them are on the run, he takes there watch

We sit in a few minutes of comfortable silence

"I'm sorry about what happened the other day with Negan." He says

"No it's not your fault, it's negans fault." I say with my head down

He nods and sits back

"We're gonna find a way to kill him and his army. We have to, we can't just live like this until we die." I say tearing up

"I know, I know. We're gonna make a plan and kill every last one of them." He says

I nod and wipe my eyes

Another hour or so goes by and still no Glenn

I sigh

"Worried about Glenn?" He asks me

"A little, I know I'm just being paranoid but I can't help but to worry." I say

He nods understandingly

I look up and see headlights coming this direction

I sigh in relief and smile a little

Rick smiles at me

I jump down and open the gate

They come in and I close it behind them

Glenn jumps out and walks up to me

I hug him and hugs me back while kissing the top of my head

We release our hug and he kisses me lovingly

God I love this man, I didn't know I could love someone so much

We start walking home with his arm around my waist

"Why are you up so late?" He asks me

"Couldn't sleep." I say simply

He nods but looks at me suspiciously

We walk into our house and go straight upstairs

I look at the clock and it reads 2:15

Damn it is late

I take my top off and my bottoms

I dig through my drawer for some pajamas

Glenn walks in shirtless and wraps his arms around me

He presses his stomach to my back and his breath on my neck sends shivers down my spine

He starts kissing my neck a little and I giggle

He sucks on a certain spot and I almost loose my balance

I grip the dresser and moan

He giggles against my neck and my whole body vibrates

I turn around and face him

"I'm super tired, we can finish this another day." I say and he nods

"Yeah I'm tired to." He says agreeing

I start to unclip my bra because I don't sleep good with a bra on but Glenn stops me and turns me around

He unhooks it slowly and brings it over my shoulders, dropping it on the ground

He takes one of his shirts and slips it over my head

He gets some pajama pants and I step into them

I crawl into bed and he crawls beside me

I snuggle up to him and he wraps his arms around me tightly

"I love you." He whispers into my ear

"I love you too." I whisper back

his arms tighten around me a little more protectively and I can't help but to sigh in comfort

He brushes his fingers threw my hair

Glenn makes me feel safe

Only seconds later I fall asleep in the arms of the man I love...
