Cant catch a break

Glenn's pov.

I don't know why all these things keep happening to Maggie. It's like walkers don't exists and were hiding from some sick people that just kidnap and rape innocent people like Maggie, I don't get it. Why Maggie...

She's just been crying because she feels like people are dying because of her.

Eventually she stops crying and we get up and walk out of the tunnel were in to see what's been going on.

I keep Maggie right behind me close to me in case something happens

I hold her hand and in the other hand I hold my pistol up ready

We get out of the tunnel and we see a bunch of people outside, our people.

Some sigh in relief that were okay and some give Maggie bad looks because she didn't go with the governor to keep our group safe. Those people obviously don't know Maggie good enough to give her bad looks like that.

We walk out and I keep Maggie right behind me.

We see Rick and Some other people walk up to us, the other people are new here.

We approach them and the first thing Maggie says,"I'm so sorry Rick, I'm sorry people probably died because of me, I'm sorry we hid while everything was going on, I'm just sorry."

Before Rick had time to speak, a new guy came up to us and was screaming," yeah you are sorry! A sorry worthless peice of shit!"

"Hey!" I shout angrily

"Stop it mark!" Rick shouts

I guess his name is mark

"3 people died because she wouldn't just go back with the governor!" Mark shouts

Daryl sneaks behind him and knocks him out with the butt of his gun

I nod at him in thanks

He nods back

Maggie starts crying

"3 people? Oh my god." She crys and falls to her knees

I sit beside her and rub her back

Rick pats my back

"Thank you for not making her go." I say

"I would never, not in a million years would I do that to either one of you." He says

Maggie is still crying because she found out 3 people died because she hid

She's laying on the ground on her side with her hands in her face crying

I pull her in my lap and let her cry while rubbing her back

Rick bends down and pats her head gently and tells her that everything will work out

I pick her up after she's done crying and take her to her cell and lay her down for sleep

I lay beside her and pull her close to me and I swear I'm so tired but I don't want to fall asleep and not watch Maggie as carefully as I should

She finally sits up and whispers," Glenn get some sleep, you need it."

I nod but I don't know if I'll actually go to sleep

She lays her head on me and falls asleep

I hold on to her, I just hold on....

Eventually I do fall asleep holding her close
