Now, I'm not really one for support bands. But they were impressive I must say. Raglans they were called, I must note that down so I can fall in love with yet another band.

Nicole squeezed my hand. She was just as excited as I was. Any moment now....

The lights suddenly went out. Darkness. It's time. I could literally feel my heart in my mouth and I know Nicole felt the same. Then, there was cheers, whistles and clapping. The excitement in the crowd built up even more with every second that passed.

Four silhouettes strolled onto the stage and the crowd cheered even louder. There they were. I couldn't take my eyes off them.

Lights. I could now make out all their facial features. Me and Nicole were extremely close.
Eighty-Four was their choice for the opening song and it was fantastic. The atmosphere was incredible. They were so good.

Me and Nicole knew every word to every song. They were playing all of our favourite tunes. I was also sure that Ross made eye contact to Nicole a few times. It's hard to tell with sunglasses.

Blue Collar Jane, one of their older songs but an absolute classic. Josh's guitar solo behind his back was astonishing.
When he finished, he walked to the edge of the stage right above me. He threw his guitar pick. I didn't even have time to think but I caught it. Oh my God. I have Josh's guitar pick. Was he supposed to do that?

The crowd was so synchronised with Scumbag City. We all jumped at exactly the same time and it felt great.

For that hour and a half, me and Nicole just got lost in the moment. Everything felt so surreal. It was the fastest hour and a half of my life.

We had to wait until the rest of the crowd moved so we could get out.
Nicole turned to me.
"Let me buy you a t-shirt as your birthday present. "
"No way! Merchandise is so pricey Nic." I said.
"Oh shut up, I'm getting you it, end of." she laughed.

Once the crowd had died down, we walked over to the merchandise area where Evan's dad, Niall was selling the merch.

"Right let me choose the top, my choice is always best." Nicole giggled.

I waited at the back of the room whilst I watched Nicole skip to the front of the stand.
I thought about that entire night and how amazing the experience was. I remembered the guitar pick.

I took it out of my pocket and looked at it. I held it between my fingers and just stared right at it.
There was a person standing infront of me, looking at the pick with me. I assumed Nicole came back but I looked up anyway.

It was Josh.
