3 Weeks Later

Chapter 5

Adam's POV

For the past weeks...everything's actually been kinda calm. Me, Tyler, Quentin have kinda been going everywhere with Jerome lately. Whether it's food, or mini games, or just hanging out, it's probably been one of the most peaceful weeks of my life.

And that's during the day. At night, I text Ty, and we meet in different places.

One time, he texted me telling me to go the park and when I got there he had a picnic with candles and everything all laid out. Another time, I told him to come to the beach where we slept on a blanket for the night.

So yeah, it's been great! Of course, right now, Jerome's called everybody to a meeting.

It's really early and I literally just got back from Ty's an hour ago.

I really wasn't in the best mood, but this was my best friend we were talking about here.

I left my room, and made my way down to the living room.

"Jerome, what do you want?"

"Yeah, it's fucking 3:00 AM in the morning!"

I shook my head at Mudkip, and he growled. He needs to really control his language.

Tyler sat on the couch looking sad while Jerome turned around to face us.

He didn't look so good. His hair was all messed up and his pjs were crumpled as if he couldn't even sleep.

"Guys.." Jerome started. "I have some news."

Suddenly, Tyler burst into tears. I rushed to him and gave him a hug. "Y-you, you can't j-just leave u-us j-j-Jerome!" He sobbed into my shirt and I looked at Jerome with wide eyes.

What?

"What.." I said slowly. "What exactly is Tyler talking about?" I whispered.

Jerome collapsed onto the couch and put his head in his hands. "I already told Tyler. Adam...Quentin."

Mudkip sat down next to Jerome, who had silently started to cry. "What is it Jerome?"

~CHANGE OF POV~

Jerome's POV

"Guys..." I finally said, wiping my tears away.

"I'm moving out of Minecraftia."

I waited to see their reactions. I had already told Tyler and he had started to cry right away. Mudkip looked at me as if I was a weird alien who had just suggested to do something incredibly stupid. And Adam...

He sat there, Tyler still crying onto his soaked shirt, frozen, as if he couldn't even comprehend what I just said.

I cleared my throat. "I called Preston a couple nights ago and asked him if he can take me in over at the Hub and he said I could come anytime I liked..."

"You can't be serious."

I looked up to Adam, who was looking at me still frozen.

"You. You can't move."

I shook my head. "Guys I've been thinking about this a lot. Me and Mitch together in the same games, much less the same city? We cause too much damage because of each other...and I hate it. I don't want to fight. This doesn't mean that I still hate him. This only means I'm done with him. Forever."

Adam stood up silently, and gave me a hug. "I understand. But I have to tell you..."

I waved my hand. "I don't actually expect you to come with me. I need some time alone with my old school friend."

Adam nodded in understanding.

"When are you leaving?" Mudkip finally asked.

I smiled a little. "After the Hunger games tournament, duh!"

I guess that lifted the mood because the tournament wasn't happening for two months.

I smiled a little. "Guys, seriously. I'll come and visit a lot. I promise, this can work."

Mudkip threw his hands up in the air. "Ok I don't even know but all I realize is that we need to spend the next two months with Jerome in the most epic way possible!"

Adam and Tyler agreed and I smiled. "Thanks guys. This means a lot to me." Adam nodded then yawned.

I went back to bed and I sat down on my bed.

I was on my way to peace. The only thing here for me in Minecraftia was my friends and Hunger Games.

I can't sleep.

I need to go play.

I changed into my typical suit and quietly slipped out of the house.

~CHANGE OF POV~

"What?!?" I whisper yelled. "Yeah." Adam said. "Wow," I breathed. "I can't believe Jerome's moving."

"I know right?"

"Wait... You're not going with him are you?"

"No. I'm not. He said he's going to come visit us often so I will stay with you."

"Oh ok."

"I gotta go. I'm really tired but I'm going to try and get some time with you tomorrow..." He yawned on the other end and I chuckled. "Kay. Love you Adam, see you soon." And we hung up.

~CHANGE OF POV~

My eyes widened. "Kay. Love....you soon." I could barely hear Ty through his door but I head heard enough.

Jerome...was moving?

And Ty had a relationship with someone? And he didn't tell me?

I'm so confused, I can't think. Going back to sleep is obviously not an option for me.

I think I'll go out for a little while.

I changed into some ripped jeans and a white t-shirt with my favorite plaid overshirt. Then I teleported myself to the Hunger Games center.

~FINAL CHANGE OF POV~

I was waiting for the game to start. People were still coming in so I had time to look around. 

I took a look around, and I saw a man who looked like he might be competition, but i couldn't be sure.

Then, of course, HE spawns in next to me.

"Jerome?"

Funny, Mitch never calls me Jerome.

I gave him a glance, then sent a message to the creators of the map:

if you dont want this game to end up horribly, spawn me out and never put me in a game with BajanCanadian ever again

They sent me a message back saying that i would be spawned out soon. I had just enough time to give him a glance before i was spawned out.

But before I did, I thought i heard him yell,

"Wait! You're moving?!?!"

What? Did he know? How did he know? Maybe he dosen't know at all, and he was just messing with my mind.

Ugh. I don't even know anymore. I shook my head and sighed. 

This is getting way too complicated.
