Chapter 14
Jerome's POV
I lingered behind the door for a little bit. I hesitated, and I'm not going to lie-I'm pretty confused right now.
Why would Tyler and Mudkip take me to this strange and unfamiliar apartment?
"Jerome, dood are you coming?" Mudkip turned around to glance at me, and I gulped. "Uh, yeah." I walked into the apartment, side by side with Mudkip. "Who's apartment is this?"
"Jerome!!" I looked up to see Setosorcerer and Ssundee running out of a room to see me. Immediately my brain supplied warnings, and alarms went off in my head.
Friends of Mitch. Not trustworthy. Run.
Immediately I turned around and started to run, but Mudkip was already blocking the doorway, and then Tyler and SSundee jumped onto me and brought me to the floor crashing.
And then something hit my head and everything went black.

Seto's POV

The loud crash of the table hitting Jerome and Ian and Tyler made me wince.
"We're fine!" I heard Ian say, so I turned to Quentin. "What the hell?" I bursted out. "We agreed you would bring back Mitch!! Not Jerome!!" Quentin sighed. "You gave us Preston's coordinates, and Jerome was with him instead of Mitch. So we thought it would just be easier if we brought him back instead."
"But will Ty be ok with diving into the memories of a person he barely knows? It's a lot easier to see the memories of someone familiar."
"Look, we're just trying to get this whole mess fixed as fast as we can. Ty will just have to suck it up, and be strong, because we have him here-now. So we might as well figure out what's going on before it's too late."
I sighed. He had a point. If we waited around for Mitch to show up, Jerome might become wild and uncontrollable and then we'll never be able to have the two talk and work their differences out.
"Fine then. TY! ADAM!!" The two of them came out of the bedroom and I could see their jaws drop when they saw Jerome sprawled on the ground with Tyler and Ian panting heavily next to him.
Tyler smiled weakly. "Sur....prise?"
"You brought back Jerome??"
"It saves more time if we get the memories now-"
"But Ty needs to be familiar with the person or else there will be no familiarity once he's inside the memories-"
"We don't have time to get Mitch because-"
