First lesson

We had music. I walked into the classroom to see Shawn was talking to the teacher, maybe he got the wrong class or something cause he didn't mention anything about being in the same classes. He turned round and smiled at me.
He took a seat two rows next to me, maybe this is what he meant by "I'll show you" as we're learning guitar in music.
We all had to partner up; the partners was one boy with one girl. Shawn picked me as I'm the only girl he knew.
"Today class we will be learning sweater weather, here are a few sheets with the chords on,"
Shawn took a sheet but just laid it on the ground. I looked at him confused
He smiled "I already know this song all I just need to do is teach you,"
"Go ahead Mendes," he shows me where to place my finger but I just couldn't seem to get it right, Shawn jut kept laughing at me; in the end he laughed and rolled his eyes, he stood behind me and put his muscular arms around me and took hold of my hands and showed me where to put my fingers.
"Now strum," he said
So I did
"Wow look I did it!" With excitement in my voice I looked up and our faces was inches apart. He smiles and winks at me
"Well done, see you learned from the best" he chuckled
"Well I wouldn't say the best," i smirked, he rolled his eyes and smirked in a way that he was trying to tell me I'm crazy but in a good way.
The bell went and it was second lesson
I had English, but he had science, we both went our separate ways. During the whole hour of English I couldn't stop thinking about how close I was to Shawn, that's definitely a moment I won't forget.
After a few hours school had finished, school has seemed like it went on for ages.
I get out jasmines car (as she was giving me a ride home) and look at the other side of the street to see Shawn walking into a house opposite of mine, maybe he is just visiting family or friends my thoughts in my head started thinking up answers why he was going into that house. He can't possibly be my neighbour.
I open my front door to be greeted by my mom baking the most beautiful wedding cake. She walks over and hugs me with a kiss on the head.
"So how was school, and cute boys?" She nudged me with a wink
I rolled my eyes and blushed, I lowered my head to hide my roses cheeks
"Oh my god there is! Tell me about him!" My mom jumped with excitement, I giggled.
"Go put your stuff upstairs and I'll make us drinks and you can't tell me everything,"
I go upstairs and try to stall as long as I can
"Hurry up your drink will get cold, and I need to know about this boy" I walked down stairs and join my mom on the Couch.
My mom raised her eyebrows giving me a sign to start talking.
"Oh right, so he's tall, brown hair, amazing facial features and the most dreamy eyes," I went on
"Ooo he sounds perfect, do you like him? I think you dooooo!" My mom smiled dimples forming each side of her mouth.
"No no no no no, I don't, I can't we hardly even talk we..." I get interrupted by a knock on the door "I'll get it," I get up from the couch and walk to the door and open it with a stronger force then I expect.
"What do you wa..." I see Shawn standing at my door
"You live here?" Shawn said
"Uh yeah... what are you doing here?"
"I just moved in just across the road and my mom wanted me to come and give you these," he handed me a basket of brownies
"Oh thank you tha.."
"That's very nice of you," my mom comes to the door.
"Well I better be going, chat soon?" He smiled
"Sure see you tomorrow at school?"
"Sure,well bye,"
"Bye." I close the door and I can feel my cheeks going red.
"Oh my! That's the boy isn't it! Well he is so sweet, I'll go over tomorrow and thank them for the brownies,"
"Maybe... okay, I'm going to do homework,"
"Stop lying it is haha, okay Hunni come down at 7 for dinner,"
"Okay."
This one is longer then the first chapter. So what do you think? Do you think she has feelings for Shawn? Is her mom right?
