A winters night - Shawn Mendes

Chapter 8 - "the party"

9:00am

I wake up to the smell of pancakes; I turn over and see Shawn isn't there. I check my phone and scroll through Instagram and twitter and head downstairs I see the love of my life standing there cooking pancakes with the radio softly playing

I wrap my arms around him and he turns round and kissed me.
"Good morning beautiful," he says and looks down at me "I love your hight it's so adorable,"
I'm so small compared to Shawn but I don't mind that
"Mmm pancakes!" Aaliyah shouted getting really excited
"Yep! Mum said I had to do breakfast whilst she goes out and get food for the car journey," he replied
"Car journey?" I question
"Yeah,I was just about to tell you, we're ganna go see Our cousins. You don't have to come if you don't want to but I would feel bad for leaving you all alone!" Shawn replied
"I would love to come with you guys," I say grinning
"Great!" Shawn smiled and turned round and kissed me
"Hurry up with the pancakes ! The kissing can wait later!" Aaliyah giggled
Shawn rolled his eyes and severed us pancakes with raspberries and blueberries.
"Shawn cooked his pancakes?" Karen said barging through the door, arms full of bags containing food and drinks
"Yup! They are so good," Aaliyah said shoving another pancake in her mouth
We all laughed.
After we ate breakfast we go upstairs and get changed

I couldn't be bothered to do my makeup I decided to do that after the apparently '2 hour car ride'
My eye sight was so bad today that I had to wear a my glasses, which I hate wearing.
"You ready?" Shawn asked me
"Yep," I smiled
"You looked cute in glasses you should wear them more!" Shawn put his arm round me and we walked out the door
"No I don't," I rolled my eyes and leaned into his shoulder.
We get into the car and Karen starts the car and we head off.

1 hour later
We stop at traffic, Aaliyah climbs into the back to get the food, she passes me a packet of crisps and passes forward a pack to Shawn and Karen.

We pull into a drive way. An Average size house stood in front of us.
"Hello everyone !" A lovely looking lady said opening the door and gesturing us in.
That must be his auntie I think to my self
(I don't know his auntie,uncle and cousins name so imma just make up names)
We all walked through the door his auntie giving us all warming hugs.
"Hey you must be Emily, I heard a lot about you," she winks at me, I look up at Shawn who is standing next to his auntie. She laughs "I'm Lin" she said
"Well hello Lin, it's nice to meet you," I smiled
We drag all our things Upstairs
"Sup brooo!" I hear a loud voice, and before I could turn round a tall guy comes out and rugby tackles Shawn, they are both 'bro hugging' and laughing
"Hey, Long time no see," Shawn replied getting back up into his feet
"Who's this chick," he cousin looked at me and winks
"Emily," he put his arm around my waist
"Wait this is Emily! You manage to get a hottie !?" Shawns cousin said shocked
"Well I wouldn't call myself that!" I blushed
"Well I would, well I'm Bruce, Charlie is too unsociable to come and say hello you will probably see him tonight at the party," he smirked
"Well hello Bruce good to meet you."
Shawn showed me to a room that I guessed we was staying in.
Me and Shawn was sharing a room and Aaliyah and Karen was sharing a room as they only had two spare rooms.
"Shawn!" I hear a deep voice say
"Uncle Kyle !" Shawn says and jumps up to hug him
"How you been?" He says
"I've been amazing," Shawn replied
"Good, and I'm guessing this is Emily, hey Emily it's good to meet you,"
"Hello, nice to meet you too," I get up and shake his hand.

I take a while to take in the room, there was awards everywhere.
"What's are these awards for?" I asked Shawn looking around
"Well we used to live here and this was my old room, they are some of my awards for ice hockey," he came and hugged me from behind.
"You must of been amazing ," I look up into his hazel, glistening eyes
"Well I wouldn't say that," he chuckled,looked down at me and kissed me on the head and I smiled.

After getting everything unpacked and catching up on gossip it was around 5:30pm and we had to leave the house by 6:30pm so we all go and get ready.

I start to apply my night make up, which I basically apply a silver glittery eyeshadow and eyeliner with my normal make up routine.
I Finnish curling my hair and tying up the lace on my heels.
*shawns pov*
I look at Emily she looks so gorgeous, she always does but I've never seen her this 'dressed up' before.
I get knocked out of my thoughts by Bruce shouting we all have to go.

We arrive at the venue, I take Emily's hand in mine, we all sit down at a large-ish table we all order some alcoholic drinks.

A few more people start to arrive and start dancing on the dance floor. By this time we was all drunk out of our minds
"Shots!" Kyle shouted
We all knocked back at least 3 glasses of shots.
Emily pulls me up onto the dance floor and starts dancing like a 10 year old at a disco but it was cute at the same time.
I grab her arms and pull her closer to me whilst we both dance like crazy.

11:00pm
We are All home and carried the party here, we pull out more alcoholic drinks and turned up the music. I see Emily with a bottle of wine in her hand and drinking it through a straw. Damn she looks so hot my thoughts start trailing on. I call Emily's name and she stumbles over to me.
I start to passionately kiss her. She puts her arms around my neck.
Before we know it we are making our way upstairs and into our bedroom.
I pull her body up into mine and push her against a wall not wanting to break this kiss. I start to trail kisses down her neck.

*Emily's POV*
He puts me onto the double bed we are staying in and he lays on top of me placing kisses down my body. How I could not wish of a more better moment then this.

Woah okay I'm sorry but I had to add in a steamy chapter 😂 it happens in most fanfics ngl but yeah this is longer than I was expecting but hope you liked it 😁
