Wednesday 7:00am
"Shawn, Emily, wake up! School is open today, they snow is all cleared up but as it's winter I would wrap up warm."
Me and Shawn moaned at the thought of having to go to school.
We get changed, I put on some leggings, an over sized, burgundy jumper and ankle boots. Shawn wore black tight jeans with a grey shirt and a black jacket.
I sat trying to put my contact lenses in as I didn't want to wear my glasses,
"Why don't you wear your glasses instead of having to go through the effort in having to put in Contacts?" Shawn questioned
"Cause I hate glasses" I chuckled, I get up and kiss him then go and get my school bags.
We arrive at school and walk to tutor.
"Good morning students, there are a few announcements I need to make after the register," he calls out the register and starts reading the announcements, then he gets too the last one "and guys on Friday there is a school dance , the head teacher says sorry for the short notice."
There was people who was excited and people who wasn't, I was in the middle, because I love events like this but I hate wearing dresses.
The bell goes for first lesson, me and Shawn walk to science together.
"So, the school dance, you excited?" Shawn said
"I guess," I replied
"Why, 'I guess'?" He questioned
"Cause I haven't been asked to go with anyone, all I know is that I'm ganna be alone standing in the corner drinking what ever it is, whilst everyone is having the best time," I tried to be sad but I couldn't hide my smile.
"Well that's a shame," Shawn said playfully
"well mr Mendes you got anyone who you will ask to the dance?" I looked up at him
"Mmm not sure," he smirked and pull me closer to him and kissed me on the head.
lessons passed, it was now lunch, at lunch we are allowed to leave the building with permission.
Me and Shawn got into his car as he was taking us too mc Donald's.
I look over at him and I smiled and think how did I ever get so lucky to meet a guy like him, Shawn took my hand and intertwined our fingers together and stroked my hand with his thumb.
We arrive at mc Donald's, we grab a booth next to the window and someone comes and takes our orders. We both a get double cheese burger with strawberry milkshakes.
*shawns pov*
I look at Emily whilst she is eating her burger and on her phone.
She has such beautiful blue eyes and perfect hair, I just need to think of a perfect way of asking her to the dance.
After me and Emily finish our lunch we go to a park as we still had 30 minutes of lunch left over.
"Your such a kid!" Emily laughs
"How?" I reply
"Cause your want to come to a park when we can go and chill at home," she giggled
"But if we go home I would never want to leave," I chuckled, Emily giggled and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear,
"Damn you're so gorgeous,"
"Huh?" She says
"I didn't say anything," I quickly say
"Okay,"
We get to the park and sit on the swings. I message my mom to see what would be the perfect way on asking Emily to the dance.
(S- Shawn, m- mom)
S- hey mom if you wanted to ask someone out to a school dance how would u do it?
M- why? Oh my god is there a school dance?
S- maybe, just tell me mom
M- alright, I would go to somewhere romantic like the CN tower.
S- okay, bye mom
M- tell me if Emily say yes or no
S- I never said I was asking her, or even going
S- mhm, okay bye
"Shawn can you hear me?" I heard Emily's voice,
"Uh yeah," I replied
"We need to get back to school," she said,
"Okay," I took hold of her hand and walked to the car.

School had now finished, Emily was going home today as her mom is now back, I'm so upset but we don't live far from each other so we can still see each other which is a good thing.
"Bye Ems, I love you," I kiss and hug her goodbye
"Bye, I love you too." And then she leaves.
*Emily's pov*
"Hey Hun, sorry that I haven't been home, was you okay staying there?" Mom said
"Yeah it was good," I start to think of everything
"So what did you do?" I explained everything that happened except the other night where we was all wasted.
"Seems like you had an amazing time"
"Yeah," I smiled and went upstairs to pack my things.

S- get changed into something warm
E- why?
S- I'll tell you later
E- well at least tell me where we're going
S- it's a surprise;)
E- when will you be here?
S- 7:00
E- okay, I'm a bit concerned but see you then I'll go get ready.
I put my phone on charge. I put on a different jumper, a scarf and my super dry coat. I apply a matte latte lipstick and a burgundy eyeshadow with a black crease. I do my eye liner and then go downstairs.
"Mom Shawn is taking me out, is that okay?" I ask her
"Yeah that's fine Hun , when will you be back?"
"I don't know, can you leave the door open just in case you are asleep by the time I'm back," I ask
"Sure, have fun," she kissed my head and then I waited for Shawn at the end of my drive way,"
I see the headlights of his car come closer. He pulled up in front of me and I jumped into his car.
"You going to tell me where we are going yet?" I turn so my body is facing him
"Nope," he smirked
After a 15 minute drive we appear to be in front of the CN tower.
"You ready to go to the top?" Shawn smiled
"There's ganna be so many stairs Shawn!"
"Don't worry after a few stairs there is a lift,"
"Okay," I laugh
Eventually we reach the top, I look through the glass floor and see the view it's amazing.
"So why did you randomly drag me out here, even though it's so beautiful," I question
"Cause I want to ask you something," Shawn started fiddling his thumbs
"What is it?"
"The dance."
"What about it?"
"Will you go with me?" He gets down on one knee and pulls out a rose
"Oh my god! Of course I will Shawn!" He got up and picked me up and span me around
"I'm so happy," he said and kissed my neck.
