        "Good Old Days"

              Memories

It's been about a year since the Earth 2 Dr. Wells sacrificed himself to Grodd, saying that he is his father, just like in Star Wars. I never did understand why he did it, but I guess that he was just trying to protect the rest of Team Flash.

"Is Barry going to make this a regular thing? Always being late for our Team Flash meetings?" Caitlin asked, right before Barry sped into the room and over to us.  "Sorry I was late again, I was just..."  his voice trailed off for a split second "just having a meeting.  With, my..."  his voice trailed off again.  "Umm, with your lawyers!"  I yelled out, trying to save Barry.  Caitlin looked from me to Barry, and back to me again.  She didn't seem to believe that, so Barry and I exchanged nervous looks.
"No, Cisco, just tell her the truth.  I was just with-"
"WITH JOE!!!!"  I screamed, not giving Barry enough time to finish his sentence.  "No, with..." he looked at me and paused to see if I would interrupt him again, but I just stayed quiet. "with Iris."

"Is that the reason that you're always late?  Because you've been with Iris?"  asked a critical Caitlin.
     "No-..."  Barry's voice trailed off.
"Yeah.  That's why."  he admitted, beat.
"I mean, what have you two even been doing, Barry?" Caitlin asked.
"Um, buying you a birthday present?"  Barry faked.
"Barry, my birthday was last week!"  Caitlin burst.
"Sorry...  I have to go." Caitlin stormed out of the room, and Barry and I just stood there and awkwardly just stared at each other in silence.

"Hey, what does that piece of paper say?"  I asked, changing the subject.
"Oh, nothing, just a note."  he answered.
     "From...?"  I asked.
"Iris."  he immediately looked at me and smiled, but when he looked up, his eyes were begging me not to tell anyone else about his special "note".
"Okay, then..." I smiled and looked down as I walked over to the computer.

Barry basically flew back into the room, almost slamming into the wall.
"Forget something?"  I smirked.  He gave me an annoyed look, but then smiled and rushed to get his suit on, and gave me a thumbs up as he ran back to the bank.

I had a plan.  If the people of this city thought that I had killed the Flash, then I would would move away to Mexico and change my name to Carlos Martineź, always wear a fake moustache, and get famous for something. That was also my life goal, until I met Barry.
