"With Iris? Really? But I thought you were... never mind." said Caitlin, obviously not approving Barry being with Iris and always being late.
"Is that the reason that you're always late? Because you've been with Iris?" asked a critical Caitlin.
"No-..." Barry's voice trailed off.
"Yeah. That's why." he admitted, beat.
"I mean, what have you two even been doing, Barry?" Caitlin asked.
"Um, buying you a birthday present?" Barry faked.
"Barry, my birthday was last week!" Caitlin burst.
"Sorry... I have to go." Caitlin stormed out of the room, and Barry and I just stood there and awkwardly just stared at each other in silence.
