Chapter 21

"Dreams and
Hallucinations"

I woke up the next morning, my head pounding.  The room was spinning, never seeming to stop. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and opened my eyes again. The room had stopped spinning, but something was different.  Yes, something was definitely different. 
     I couldn't figure it out, so I just sat there, looking like an idiot for about ten minutes.  And then, I finally figured it out.  I was home!  Well, not home, I was in Star Labs, but hey, it was really starting to feel like home.  Barry must have ran me here, because he was standing in front of me, out of breath. 
   "That, was a really, really far run, Cisco.  And you were out the whole time."  he said, still catching his breath. 
     "No, that's not what happened.  It can't be.  I woke up in my hospital bed in my room, and my head was pounding, and the room was spinning."  I said.
"No, Cisco, you were sleeping."
"No, I swear I closed my eyes for about two seconds, and then when I opened them again, the room had stopped spinning and I was here."  I said, looking around. 
     "No, Cisco. You were out. And the nurse told me that you had been out for at least an hour before I came." he said.
"Barry, what are you talking about?" I asked him, sure that I was just awake. 
     "I'm saying that you were out.  Why are you making a big deal out of this, Cisco?" 
     "I don't know"  I admitted. 
     "But, I do have one question."  I said. 
     "What do you need, Buddy?"  he asked. 
     "Who are you?"
