Ruby and Gabe spend the next few weeks getting all the wedding detail in order. They had also moved the majority of Ruby's things from her place in town to Brown Town. She only left a few things there so that her mom and brother had a place to stay while they were in town.

The days were also spend finishing up the little cabin that they would call home. Gabe recruited Noah to help with getting some basic plumbing (running water) to the cabin. Bam and Bear helped him finish replacing the siding on the outside and Matt helped finish the porch. They finished everything in just over a week.

Now with just 2 days before her family was to arrive and 5 days before the wedding, Ruby was trying to get everything in order in their cabin, so that there would be time to visit and for her family to get to know the Brown's before the wedding. Gabe had very few possessions, so merging their things should have been easy, but Ruby was having a hard time. She felt as if she was taking over the small cabin with all her things.

"You can take every inch of this place if you want," Gabe reassured her. "You have taken over my heart, now take over our home."

He was such a considerate person and wanted her to be comfortable out in the bush. He felt that having her things to surround her would help to make the transition easier.

While the guys were working on the house, the girls spent their time working on wedding plans. Gabe and Ruby had made decisions on almost everything, now the girls were putting them into place and finalizing them. They had made a trip to Juneau and Ruby had found the fabric that she wanted her dress made of. The girls had also found some to make their bridesmaids dresses. The men were going to go with simple white shirts and black pants. Gabe also picked out a black vest to wear. Now, it wasn't his black leather one that Ruby loved seeing him in so much, but she loved how he looked when he dressed up a bit.

They only upset in the wedding plans had come when Ruby shared the news of the engagement with her family. Her mother was a very practical person and shared her thoughts on their relationship during a skype conversation. And though she was happy for Ruby, she had her reservations. She insisted that they didn't know each other long enough and that moving into the bush was not safe.

"Your mom doesn't like me." Gabe was concerned. Would Ruby let her mother's feeling get to her? Would she change her mind? Gabe just wanted her family to love him and accept him the same way that his family had done to Ruby.

"It's not that Gabe. She has not met you in person and when she does she will love you. How could she not," Ruby hugged Gabe to reassure him. "She also hasn't been here. She doesn't know what it's like. She is just worried. She will come up here and meet everyone and realize that she has nothing to worry about."

"Are you sure you want to do this? Get married I mean. We don't have to do it right now."

"Why would you even ask me that? Are you looking for an out? Have you changed your mind? Do you not want to get married anymore?" Her worry was evident by her tone and volume.

"No. I want to marry you. I just want to make sure that you still want to marry me. I don't want to get married and then you change your mind. I don't think that I could deal with that." There was no doubt in Gabe's mind that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.

"Gabe, you know me right? I have always been honest with you and always will. I told you that on our second date. Have I ever given you a reason to not trust my word? I told you that I love you and want to marry you. I want to be your wife, start our life together, and grow our family. There is nothing and no one that is going to change my mind. You know me, I'm a little strong willed, would I let someone do that?"
