2 Days before Nessie's Birthday

NESSIE'S P.O.V.

Well, can't believe that there's 2 more days until my birthday!! I'm so excited! I wonder what Jake will get me....I know I hate presents like my mum, but I can't help thinking about what Jake will get me. Then I was interrupted by dad.

"I bet he'll give you a great gift", obviously he had read my mind, like he always does. Sometimes I wish that he wouldn't do that. Dad just chuckled at the thought, and sat down next to me on my bed, since I've just woken up.

"I thought you hated receiving presents?"

"Well, since Jake's my boyfriend now, I'm kinda eager to find out what he'll get me".

"Oh ok, well I'm going to go downstairs with the rest of the family, and leave you to get dressed. By the way, your breakfast will be waiting for you in the kitchen", he said, as he walked out of my room.

I pulled out a white t-shirt, some light blue shorts, and some pink flats. I had quite a lot of flats, because they're very comfortable than high heels or sandals, and they are my favourite type of shoes.

I went downstairs and saw a plate of some toast and some scrambled eggs. Grandma Esme is the BEST cook I've ever known, she always knows what I like to eat. I sat down and heard Jake coming in, and I quickly jumped up and ran to hug him.

"Hey beautiful", he said as he kissed me my lips. Then I pulled away and we went and sat down to eat.

Since it was Friday, I had to go to school, today. Luckily the other day I got to change classes so I can be with Jacob in every class, so I was kinda happy about that. I'm also happy that my birthday is on Sunday, not a school day.

Once we finished breakfast, we quickly got our things and hopped into the car. My dad was driving me, Jake, and my mum. All my aunties and uncles were in the other car, driven by Jasper. As we were driving, I kept on thinking about my birthday and what Jake's present might be.

A few minutes later, we arrived at school. We got out of our cars and just then, the bell rang and we headed towards our classes.

Finally! The bell rang for lunch! The morning classes were so boring! Luckily I had Jake with me, so we kinda talked a bit during class, if he wasn't there I would've been bored to death!

While we were walking towards my family at the cafeteria, I had a feeling that someone was watching me.

"What's wrong Ness?", Jake asked me.

"Oh....nothing, just thinking about my birthday", I replied, trying not to think about the bad feeling I had.

"But you look worried about something"

"I'll tell you later"

"Fine"

Then we walked down the hall way towards the cafeteria, and found my dad looking at me, I quickly tried to sing a song in my head. My dad had a suspicious look on his face, guessing that by reading my thoughts, he heard that I was playing a song in my head, but then turned around to continue talking.
