Chapter 2 - The Secret

Chapter 2

JAKE'S P.O.V.

I was sitting down with the Cullen's, when I saw a guy come up to Nessie and was telling her something, but once he left I saw Renesmee coming towards us, with excitement on her face, and a smile, I knew that that guy asked her on a date and that she agreed. I started to feel anger rushing through me.

'How could she agree to go on a date with that guy??!! She's MY Nessie!! I imprinted on her since the day she was born!! Even though she doesn't know that I imprinted on her, can't she at least see that I care about her more than anything in the world?!' I thought to myself.

As soon as Edward looked at me I knew straight away that he read my thoughts.

NESSIE'S P.O.V.

I quickly walked towards the table where my family and Jake were, and I told them about how that guy, Alex asked me out. While I was telling them about it, I saw that Jake looked like he was angry, but I didn't know the reason why.

"Nessie, can I please pick out your outfit and do your make up, while Rose does your hair?" Aunt Alice asked, interrupting my thoughts.

"Ok Alice, but please don't make it too fancy", I replied.

"Ok, then it's settled, me and Rose will go shopping for your outfit, and it'll be a surprise", she said, smiling full of excitement.

---------------Later that day---------------

It was the end of my 1st day at high school, and we drove back home. I still noticed that Jacob was still angry at me. I figured out that there was only one reason why he would be mad at me, and that reason is that I agreed to go out with Alex. But I still didn't know why he was angry about that.

As I was deep in thought, my dad interrupted me.

"Aren't you gonna get out of the car"

"Yea dad, sorry I was just thinking about something, which I think you already know about since you can read everyone's thoughts", I said.

He just smiled and led me out of the car.

As we walked inside the house, Grandma Esme asked me about my 1st day at school.

"Some of the classes were a bit boring, but it was fine. Oh and I also have to tell what happened at lunch!" I exclaimed, "a guy from one of my classes, Alex, asked me out and I agreed"

As I kept on telling my grandma about it, I heard Jake run out of the house.

JAKE'S P.O.V.

I heard Renesmee telling her story about her date tonight, to Esme. I was starting to get annoyed and furious about it. I ran out of the house slamming the door behind me. I couldn't take it anymore, why did she agree to go out with that stupid guy!! I heard Nessie walk out the door, running towards me. I quickly ran towards the woods, because I had a feeling that she was going to ask me why I am angry at her, and I didn't want anyone to hear us. I was still running with Nessie following me, I stopped until we came upon a beautiful sight, with a waterfall flowing down from a cliff into a lake, and there was valley of some colourful flowers. But that didn't matter right now, because Nessie had caught up to me.
