Rozada just looked at me with this worried look and said "Really where?"
I looked back at her and responded "No flipping idea, but they smell amazing."
I started looking around to see if I could place a face with the smell when I saw a pair of blue eyes that I instantly feel in love with. Those eyes were the bluest blue I have ever seen. Those gorgeous eyes widened in shock and it felt like it was just him and I in the mall. I just wanted to go over there, grab him and never let him go. Something in me just screamed mine. Rozada broke me out of it when she snapped her fingers in front of my face. I gave her a look of annoyance and listened to her speak.
"Hello Leah are you there? You zoned out for a good five minutes. Well maybe I am exaggerating, but it sure seemed like you were out of it for a while." She exclaimed.
"Really? I'm sorry Rozada I feel weird. I don't feel like myself." I replied.
I looked away to see if I could see the boy with the blue eyes again, but he was gone.
"Leah? Leah Simmons is that you?" I heard a voice say.
"Samantha?" I questioned.
"Oh my god it is you." Samantha replied.
Samantha then grabbed me in a big hug and it looked like she had gained weight from the last time I saw her. She actually kind of looked pregnant. When she pulled away I looked at her left hand and I saw a big engagement ring.
"Oh my god Samantha are you engaged?" I enquired.
"Yeah I am. This guy is amazing. We got engaged and then I got pregnant so it's not think we are just getting married because we are having a baby. He actually is away at law school. He has been taking summer classes to try and get his degree faster. Less time to spend apart, you know? And yeah I know we kind of have bad planning. But I don't think it matters since we love each other and have the rest of our lives planned out since he is going to be a lawyer." She replied.
I guess that makes sense. If you love someone why should you wait? The way she just talked about her fiancé was a moment out of a movie, the way her eye's shined and that smile on her face made her seem real happy.
"Samantha I am happy for you. I can tell by the way you talk about him that you found the one." I told her.
"Yes, yes I did." She said with a smile on her face.
Rozada led me away from Samantha and pulled me to the side. She whispered in my ear "I don't really like her fiancé, he has a secret and I want to know what it is. He is related to the new kids, so I wonder if one of the younger ones is his. It wouldn't surprise me he already got Samantha pregnant and they have only been together a year. I mean a year isn't bad, but it is when you just graduated high school and your boyfriend is older and has been out of high school for four years."
I guess that makes sense to her, but the way that Samantha was talking about her fiancé made it seem like they were wolf mates or at least he was a wolf and she was his human mate. Maybe that did exist after all, well the whole soul mate thing. I might not believe in it, I believe in choice not fate choosing for me.
"Well Rozada don't judge her that much. When you find that right guy you will be the same way." I told her.
"True Leah, but I don't think I will ever find that guy." She sighed. "I'm the type of girl that because I'm pretty the guys think that they can hit and quit."
I really wish I could help Rozada find that right guy, but she will have to do that on her own. I like to help all my friends find that guy, but I know I can't help them all. Maybe I can find her a good wolf boy, or have Samantha help her see if one of the guys is her "mate" if they do exist.
