Wattpad is a huge site and when you post a book for the first time, it can seem like no one will ever find your book. However there are some tricks on how to get the word out about your book:
1. Follow people who are active and follow back, and who read books around or in your genre. This will help give your book exposure as these followers may check out your works.
2. If you go onto the 'Club' section of Wattpad (on the website version) there are some threads where you can meet likeminded people and there are even some where you can advertise your book I think.
3. Message your followers about your book by sending a message on your message board, and maybe some people will see it while they're scrolling through their newsfeed.
So that's just a few tips for getting the word out about your book!
