~ Gwen ~
"Wow." Finn slammed the laptop shut.
"What did the websites say?" Yves asked him.
"Like what Gwen said. Crosses, garlic, going out in the sun, beheading, stabbing the vampire in the heart with wood and some other stuff specifically for corpses. You still wanna do this?" Finn asked us.
"Totally." Yves and I said at the same time.
"I can believe I let you two lunatics talk me into this." Finn shook his head.
"Well, I'm definitely not going to behead you nor stab you obviously." I added.
That seem to make Finn relaxed a bit.
"Unless you tempt me." I flashed him an evil grin which made him tense again.
Yves picked up the car keys. "Okay. So what's the first thing we do?"
*
"Must you really wear that?" Finn gestured at my nun outfit.
"Duh."
"Well, you can wear whatever you want for all I care but I just don't get why we are wearing the same thing as well." He hissed, tugging his dress.
Yeah, I made them dress as nuns as well. Why? No reason. I simply said YOLO and Yves was on board with the plan. Unlike Finn, who flatly refused and had Yves to threaten him with his secrets.
See, this is why I like Yves. He's carefree and crazy and he is most likely going to be my partner in crime.
"We're going to a holy place so we gotta dress appropriately. Come on, let's go." I waved them over.
"Churches aren't my thing." Yves whispered in my ear. "Father Hendrik gave the sermons at my church and he would make us kids sit in the front row and say the sermons in a really scary voice. Once, he frightened us so bad that I peed in my pants." He shivered.
"At least you were just a kid when you wet your pants." I replied.
"I was nineteen." He corrected me.
"Oh." I looked away. "Well, I'm sure the priest here won't be as scary as yours." I mumbled before hurrying my steps up the stairs.
"Is this a bad time to back out of the plan right now?" Yves asked.
"Yeah it is." I stopped right outside of the door.
"You go first." I told Yves.
"Why should I? You go first." Yves replied.
"You're the vampire." I reasoned.
"And you're the nun." Yves pointed out.
I looked down at my outfit. "Oh." I looked at Yves again. "This is appropriate clothing and you're a nun too." I defended myself.
"No... you don't have to wear a nun outfit if you're not one." Yves said before he held up my huge cross hanging from my neck. "What's this?"
"It's a cross. Duh."
"Yeah but it's a freakin' cross. And you can see that we didn't get burn by it so we can go back." Yves said.
"Uh no. Definitely not. This is made out of cardboard and painted with brown paint so it's not real. What we need is the real cross. In the church." I pointed at the door. "Which you gotta go in first."
"Why don't you go first?" Yves asked me.
"Why don't you go first?" I said.
"Why don't you two go in at the same time? I'm sure there's space for the both of you since the door can probably fit five people at once." Finn suggested.
