James P.O.V.

I’m sitting in English listening to a lecturer go on and on about something or another. I start drumming my fingers to ‘We Will Rock You.’ I look around the hall and realise that the hall is empty and the only person left is the lecturer. I’ve got to get out of there before the lecturer sees me, he hates my guts…

“Mr Charming! Just the man I wanted to see.” called Mr Sulkabe. We call him Mr Sulky. I groan and turn around, putting on my most charming smile.

“Yes, Mr Sulky. I mean Sulkabe.” I mumble.

“I understand that you know Mr Roe. Can you tell him that his English assignment is 2 months late! I need to have it soon or I’ll have to fail him.” I make a mental note to remind Jace.

“Yes, sir. Sorry, sir. I’ll tell him straight away, sir.” With that I run out of the hall and get out my Blackberry. I have a missed call and a text from Jace.  He got into the rowing team and he’s throwing a party. Looks like I have myself a party to go to. I turn the corridor and drum ‘We Will Rock You’ on the wall.

Olivia’s P.O.V.

Even in University there are cliques. As I walk through the dining hall I see all the cliques. First there are the nerds and their computers. I swear they don’t even talk to each other. Next, there’s the Goth’s and the Emo’s. As there’s so few of them they bunch together, but most of the time they argue. After that, there’s the Eco-Friendlies, they go round recycling and wear plant clothes. Then, there’s the popular/jocks they’re conceited idiots. Yet, everyone worships them and no-one dares to go against them. Finally, there’s my table. We’re not loners but we’re not those posh idiots. I slide into my place and look round to see Sandy stuffing her face with food. Across the table I see George shaking his head and smiling at the same time. These are my crazy best friends.

“I got into the rowing team!” Sandy says with her mouth full.

“Didn’t your mother teach you to eat with your mouth shut?” drawls George. George is American and is not accustomed to our English ways. I laugh to myself and continued eating. That was until Sandy reminded me of the boat race tomorrow…
