Olivia’s P.O.V.
I run towards the boathouse in search of fresh clothes. I can see everyone looking at me and giving me questioning looks. I don’t care; right now all I want is a fresh pair of clothes. I find my bag next to Sandy’s and I pull out some clothes from my black gym bag. I walk calmly and quickly towards the toilets but I’m stopped by Sandy.
“Hey Olivia! I was just wondering… woah! What happened to you?”
“I fell into the river.”
“Well, I guessed that. That’s funny they were just telling everyone to be careful because a boy fell in the river and cut his head. Looks like your both idiots!” Sandy laughs. I roll my eyes and walk past her; I can’t help but think that the guy she’s talking about is him. Him, the guy I don’t even know but have been crying a river for. I feel like one of those girls who get obsessed over a guy that they can’t have. Wait, I am one of those girls! Groaning, I walk into a toilet cubicle and start getting changed. I throw my wet clothes in the bag and put on a blue converse, at least red and blue sort of match. As I’m walking out of the toilets I see him. The guy whose life I saved, the guy that I felt an automatic connection with and he’s standing a few feet away. My eyes lock with his and for a few moments no-one else is there, just me and him, all alone. Finally, I rip my eyes away and for the second time today I run.
