When we reached my condo, we decided to drink the beer.
"Ly.."
"Hmmm."
"Posible pala ang mga ganitong bagay noh?" I looked at her.
"Huh?"
"I mean, ikaw at ako. Nag uusap, umiinom ng beer. Haha"
"Yeah. You are my greatest rival pero always ka andyan for me."
"I have always been compared to you. Di ko alam kung maiinsulto ako kasi ako lagi ang nagmumukhang masama, o mapaflatter kasi sayo ako kinompara. Biruin mo, Alyssa Valdez yun!"
"I'm sorry."
"Bat ka nagsosorry?"
"I feel like I'm so unfair to you. My fans are bashing you, and I didn't even have the guts para pagsabihan sila. Habang ikaw, lagi mo pinapaalalahanan fans mo to return kindness."
"Sus, maliit na bagay. Haha"
"Tsaka ano, I'm sorry for stealing Kiefer away from you."
"Hala, di mo sya inagaw oy. I was really planning of breaking up with him naman kaso I can't find the right time kasi everytime I'm attempting, he cuts me off and became extra sweet to me."
"Oh!"
"Then that night happened. I was not really kissing that guy, he was just saying something to me tapos vinideo pala. I appeared to be unfaithful but I'm still thankful kasi napadali yung pakikipagbreak ko sa kanya. Haha"
"May I ask why you planned of breaking up with him?"
"I was confused with my feelings. My feelings for him was starting to fade and I was also starting to like someone. Ikaw? Ano issue mo sa kanya?"
"I caught him making out with someone. Not just once, but four times."
"Whaaat? What the hell!"
"Yeah. The first time, I accepted his sorry. I gave him a second chance, but he wasted it. And so as the third chance."
"So, is that the reason why you drowned yourself with alcohol?"
"Yeah."
There was silence between us. Until she speak first.
"You really love him huh?"
"Maybe? Yes? No? Ugh! I'm not sure with my feelings towards him."
"Huh?"
"I liked someone already even before I got into a relationship with Kief. Nadala lang siguro ako sa fans kaya ko sya pinatulan. Naglasing lang naman ako kasi sobrang nasaktan yung ego ko. Yung feeling na Alyssa Valdez 'to tas niloko?"
"Tsk tsk. Kala ko sobra mong mahal."
I just shrugged my shoulders and opened another can while she's busy eating.
"Ly."
"Hmm?"
"Can we start over?" I gave her a questioning look, motioning her to explain.
"Hi, I'm Mika Reyes, you are?" She said while wiping the chips from her hands on her shirt.
"I'm Alyssa Valdez." I took her hand for a handshake.
We laughed together. Para kaming mga baliw. We talked a lot of stuffs, like getting to know each other, ganern.
"Hmm. Miks, may I ask what were you doing in the bar? I mean, nung nalasing ako."
"I was with my Lings nun when I saw you enter the door. I heard what happened between you and you know who so I looked after you."
"You did? OMG! I spoiled your party time with your friends pala. Sorry Miks."
"It's okay Ly. Nag alala ako nun kasi ang wild mo na."
"Thank you Miks. Ang bait mo pala talaga kahit ang angas mo inside the court. Thank you din sa masarap na food. Saan ka nga pala natulog nun?"
"Sa tabi mo." I looked at her only to find out that she’s grinning at me. I felt my cheeks turn red.
"Ginawa mo pa nga akong human pillow nun eh. Mabigat pero keri lang naman. Hahaha"
"Loko kaaaa!" I shouted as I covered my face with my hands. Naakakahiyaaa.
