Song Of Chapter "Coming Home Part ||." By Skylar Grey

Sam:

6months.

6 months with being in a relationship.

And now, well now is now. The past is the past and the future is the future. And today is the present, the new day of saying she's mine. Which I'll be able to say everyday. Whether it's skype calls at 2 a.m. Or cooking dinner and making a big mess. She's mine and that's all. You can't change it. I woke up to her beautiful face, wrapping my arm protectively around her as she slept. I stared at her perfections, imperfections, he little dot on her nose, her small forehead. Everything.

aha! I barely realized that her and JC have the same dot.

JC. He's Hispanic.

Gabriela. So is she.

I wonder if it's just a Mexican thing. Not to be racist.

But she just seems so much like JC, chill, laid back. It got me thinking. He's always over protective of her, always watching out for her.

Him showing up at her parents funeral.

What am I saying, JC and Gabriela can't be siblings. Or can they? I wonder if I'm the first one to know about this, or the last but they just seem so much alike. I stood up from the bed and walked out of the guest room, into the kitchen. I saw JC sitting, eating cereal.

"Hey."

"Wad up."

"You know what got me thinking?"

"What?"

"How you and Gabriela have the same dot on your nose."

"Oh. Um that's different aha."

"Yeah, you don't think since her parents passed."

"Sam."

"Yes?"

"Those people that passed."

"What about them?"

"They-

Gabriela:

I woke up, surprised that Sam wasn't here with me. I had my soccer pants and a shirt, making sure I looked presentable before leaving the room. I heard Sam and Jc's voice inside the kitchen, snooping in as JC was saying something, I had the glass cup I was going to fill in my hand with water when it dropped.

His voice pierced my heart.

"How could you?"

"Gabriela."

"How could you say something like that?"

"I'm sorry,"

"No JC, how could you be sorry, saying those people on that plane aren't my parents."

"Gabriela they aren't."

"Oh really, then how do you think I won't believe it?"

"Because your parents are still alive."

"JC they died. ON A PLANE."

"Gabriela please listen."

"NO JUSTIN YOU DONT JOKE ABOUT THINGS LIKE THAT."

"WELL YOU KNOW WHAT?! YOUR PARENTS ARE MINE. OKAY? YOU KNOW HOW I KNOW THAT? MY MOM SHE TOLD ME EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU AND HOW I HAD TO PROTECT ME. OKAY THEIR ARE BAD PEOPLE AFTER YOU AND I HAVE TO DO ANYTHING TO PROTECT YOU."

I stood there, speechless. A tear slipped down my cheek and I sucked on my lower lip from crying more. All my life has been a lie. Everything. everyone.
