Kindaichi has been informed he must assassinate a business man who goes by the name 'Kunimi Akira'.
As he lays eyes on his target he can't help but notice the way his eyes light up, his hair falls over his face and how he smiles a lot.
He starts to question his capabilities of being an assassin. But as he stares at his targets face the familiarity starts to set in.
He thought he recognised the name, but couldn't place it. It was Kunimi who he'd spent every waking hour with as a teenager.
Could he really kill this man?
The answer was no.
People don't kill the ones they love he thought.
He watched as Kunimi put his arms around the woman stood next to him.
They just hurt each other instead.
