After College Life (Camila/you/Dinah)

Chapter 4

Camila's Pov:
      I slammed my car door and pulled out my gun. My partner and I walked through the dark alley and we heard gun shots. She called for back up and we saw our main guy the supplier leave in a car as his dealers started shooting at us. As soon as pir back up comes they leave. "Dammit" I said and my Partner Hailee patted my back "next time" she said as she got in the car. I got in the driver's seat and drive back to the station.

    *Tuesday so everyone is now in Miami*

Your Pov:
     I laid on my bed as Dinah was changing clothes. I had my black pants on and a dark blue button shirt on. I got up and put on my belt then my black dress shoes. I went into the bathroom and I combed my hair and put on cologne. I rolled up my sleeves to my elbow so I looked some what professional. I got my keys to my black BMW. Dinah came in dressed in high waisted pants and a tank top on with Adidas and her hair curled. "Lets go" I asked and she nodded. She grabbed our phones and I grabbed her free hand. We left out apartment and went to the elevator. Once it binged we got out and looked for my car. I found my BMW and I opened the door for Dinah and I quickly went to my side and drove to the police station. Once we arrived we entered I saw Arnny flirting with some girl. "Arnny?" I said and he looked at me and smiled "y/n" he said and hugged me and I hugged back "Dinah" he said and hugged her also "hey Arnny" she said and he looked at her hand. "Wait are you two engaged" he asked and we nodded "Nice" he said "so what are you guys doing down here in Miami" he asked "well I'm the best detective in LA so Parish sent me down here to help out a drug deal" I said and he nodded "alright well I gotta go deal with a case" Arnny said and he left. I asked for the person who was on the main case for the drug deal and sent me to an office. Once I opened it and I felt Dinah grab my hand. "Officer" I said and she looked up at me "Detective" she said and she got up with a smile. "Hello Camila" Dinah said and she waved at her "Hi Dinah Hi y/n" Camila said as We hugged each other. "So uh what's the update with our supplier like any names connected to him" I asked and she nodded. She went to her desk and pulled out a folder and I walked over to her desk and Dinah just sat down near her desk and went on her phone. Camila handed me the folder filled with papers and pictures. "so far we have captured 4 guys that work with him and a few locations" she said and I nodded. "Alright well I have to go make a quick call to Parish" I said and left the her office.

Camila's Pov:
     Once he left the room and set her phone down and stared at me. "So have you talked to the other girls" I asked her and she shook her head. "Nope only Jess" she said and I nodded "well Ally and Normani came by yesterday if you want to meet them" I asked and she nodded. "So how are you" I asked her and she smiled "Amazing I'm a doctor and I live with y/n also were engaged" she said and she showed me her hand with a small beautiful diamond ring. "Wow" I said "congratulations" I said with a fake smile. Y/n came back into the room and put his phone away. "Alright so I'll come by later tonight to check out those same locations or anything nearby that's shady" he said smiling and I nodded "well we have go now but it was nice see you again" he said as he held his hand out for Dinah to grab which she did happily and stood up. "Same and Dinah, the girls would love to see you" I said and she nodded. "I would too I'll keep in touch" she said then we said our byes and they left. I closed my door and threw my chair. 'He can't marry Dinah that was suppose to be me' I said in my head. I grabbed my chair and sat down while grabbing my phone. I quickly texted Normani and Ally that y/n and Dinah were here and that they are engaged. And I gave them Dinahs number.

                   *Later that day*

Your Pov:
     "Dinah I'm sorry it's my job" I said as I was putting my shoes back on. "Okay I get that but with Camila" she exclaimed and I sighed. I got off the bed and went up behind her wrapping my arms around her waist, her back against my front. "Dinah I'm going to marry you why do help thinking that I will fall in love with camila, that was back in high school okay and now it's 4 years later and now look at me, I asked you to marry me in front of our families on Christmas and you think that after a few days with her will change my mind about our future, you're wrong completely wrong because I'm in love with you" I said and she turned around in tears and hugged me "I love you so much" she said and I hugged her "me too babe I love you so much" I said and she kissed me. "I'm sorry babe but I have to go now" I said and she nodded "be safe" she said and I nodded "I will and don't stay up for me I won't be back until the morning" I said and she nodded. I got my keys and kissed my fiancee one more time. I left to my car and drive to Camila's house. Once I knocked I was met with Sinu "y/n" she said and I nodded "hello Ms. Cabello" I said and she hugged me "look at you so handsome and grown up are you here for Camila because she said that someone would come because of work" she said and I smiled "yes ma'am we have to check out some things for a serious case" I said and she let me in. "Wait here" she said and then Alejandro and Sofi came in. "Y/n" she yelled and hugged me "hi sof I haven't seen you in a long time, you're so big and adorable now" I said and she laughed "hello y/n" Alejandro said smiling "hello Mr. Cabello" I said and then Camila came down. "Hey" she said as she hugged me "Hi" I said "so let's go" she said and I nodded. We said bye and we got in my car. "Nice car" she said "Thanks Cabello" I said as I drove off to a cafe. I ordered a coffee and so did Camila. Camila handed me a set of directions so I drove to the shady place and cars coming in and out. I parked to the side and turned the lights off. "So that's it right there" I whispered and she nodded "yea I would've thought that theyd move places" she said drinking out of her cup of coffee. "I don't know they probably knew that we would look for them so all the places they were at were on purposes so cops would no longer search this place out and instead look for their next location" I explained and she looked at me. "You really know your shit don't you" she said smiling and I nodded then took a drink of my coffee.

   We sat here for about 3 hours then we saw the black Suburban pull up and Camila gasped "that's him he's the supplier" she said and I took my camera out and took clear photos of his face and his guards. "Cabello keep it on the low they will get suspicious with all the noise over here" I whispered and she nodded. We saw him enter with a silver briefcase and his guards stayed outside. "Alright Cabello once they leave we'll leave so the guards don't tell them that they saw a random car just leave right when he entered alright" I said and she nodded. I put my coffe in the cup holder and thought for a bit. "What are you thinking about" she asked and I sighed "what if I dressed up as one of them and to get us inside" I asked and she shook her head "no that's too dangerous and they'll kill you and I don't want that not when we just saw each other over the past 4 years" she said as she grabbed my hand. She looked at my lips and then to my eyes. I did the same and we started leaning in but then I thought about Dinah my Fiancee. I looked past her and saw the guy her the car and leave. They were about to pass us so I pulled my chair all the way back so I was laying down and pulled Camila on top of me. We stayed like this for a few seconds then I sighed and threw my head back. "That was close we almost got caught" I said and Camila got off of me and went back into her seat. "Sorry about that" I said as I fixed my chair but she waved me off "its all good you kinda saved us from being killed or something" she said and I started my car but kept the headlights off just in case. Once we got a couple blocks down I put my headlights back on and I drove to the police station. We got off and I got my camera and we entered the station and saw people still working at it was around 2am. I got on Camila's computer and got the photos of the supplier and then printed them. "You're welcome" I said as I handed her the pictures. "Thanks again" she said but all I did was smile "it's nothing just doing my job" I said and she looked tired "come on let's get you home you look exhausted" I said and she nodded.

    Once I arrived at her house she was fast asleep in my car. I got her keys and opened the door. I went back to my car and put her in my arms and I closed the front door once I got in. I went up to her room and laid her down on her bed and I put her keys on her desk. I left her house and went to my apartment. I parked and went to the elevator. Once I reached my door I yawned and saw Dinah asleep on the bed with the tv on. I closed the door lightly and laughed. I set my keys on the desk then I changed into my pajama and brushed my teeth. I turned off the tv and got in bed beside Dinah. I felt Dinah instantly cling onto me and I kissed her head and wrapped my arms around her letting sleep take over.

        So I see a lot of comment saying that Camila should be endgame so I might make it her or Dinah but we'll see Later on oh yea and Drama is about to start so prepare for a lot of craziness in this book.
