Chapter 22

Your Pov:     6 months later
     
          I laid in bed awake and it was 5am. I felt Camila move around in her sleep. I got up, slipped on my nike sweatshirt, brushed my teeth, grabbed my laptop and I walked into the kitchen just my basketball shorts. I made myself a cup of coffee and I walked outside with my coffee and laptop. I set down my things on the small round table outside that had a good view of the sunrise.

      I opened my laptop and went on my email and saw that Aaron, an officer at the the Miami Police Station where I now work at, had sent me a case. I took sips of my coffee as I opened the case and read it. I set my cup down and I emailed him back.

    I felt arms wrapped around my neck as I stared at my laptop screen. I looked up and saw Camila smiling and I smiled. She kissed my cheek and sat down next to me. "What are you doing up so early?" She asked me and I shrugged. "I don't know but I got a case so ima have to leave soon" I said and she sighed but nodded. Its been like this ever since I went back to work and I leave early come home late and I see her at the station but she gets mad still. Even when I asked her to be my girlfriend again I had to leave an hour later.

      I sighed and I closed my laptop and I grabbed her hand. "I'm sorry, I know working is taking up a lot of our time but it will pay off at the end plus Dinah will give birth soon and I want to be there and buy my baby girl clothes" I said and she glared at me. "Baby girl?" She asked and I giggled. "The baby is a girl and I wanna buy clothes for her" I reassured her and she smiled. "Are you going alone?" She asked and I shook my head. "Ima take time off and I wanna take you with me so we can have dates without getting interrupted" I said and she smiled. "I can't wait to marry you Y/n" she said and I smiled and pulled her chair in so I could kiss her.

Next day

      Camila leaned her head on my shoulder as I leaned mine onto of her head. "Baby what time is it?" I asked Camila and she showed me her phone and it showed 4am. "Ugh this plane better land soon" I mumbled as I wrapped my arm around camila and she held my other free hand.

    It was 6am and I was drinking a lot if Coffee as Dinah was in the room and I waited outside as her dad came up to me. "Y/n why aren't you in there with Dinah? Aren't you the father if that baby?" He asked and I nodded "yes but I thought she would want her boyfriend to be by her side" I said and he shook his head. "I hate that guy and besides your the dad of the baby so go take his place" Gordon said and I smiled and nodded.

     I walked into the room and saw that guy by her side and I pushed him aside and he glared at me. "What I'm the dad of that baby and I personally think you should leave the room" I told him and the nurse looked at me and I nodded. She grabbed the guy and led him out the room. I smiled and I grabbed Dinah's hand. "Okay ma'am I think your ready, so just push and take deep breathes" the doctor said and I looked at my baby mama and told her to looked at me.

      Once she pushed I heard crying and I looked over to the doctor and I saw my baby girl wrapped in a blanket. "Would you like to hold your baby" the nurse asked and I nodded and I just broke down as I held my daughter in my arms for the first time. I walked over to Dinah and carefully handed her our baby girl. "Oh my god I can't stop crying" I said laughing at the end and Dinah held my hand. "But it was worth it right?" She asked and I nodded. "Of course but what do you wanna name her" I asked her and she shrugged. "Shouldn't we discuss this together" she asked and I shook my head. "I was never by your side while you were pregnant I don't think I have a say in this" I said and she sighed. "Ima tell you this now that we're alone, I still love you and I always will okay? We were together for years and I think that you should be here by her side but I know that you have camila and you will soon marry and start a family with her" she said and I frowned "don't say that dinah, you will always be my first everything okay and the fact that you think that I will just leave is ridiculous okay, I might even move back just to be with you both and only you two and not that guy" I said and she laughed. "Are you serious" she asked and I nodded. "We may not be together but I still wanna raise her with you" I said and she smiled.

    I sat on the bed next to Dinah as our daughter was being passed around. "Aw you guys should have another kid she's so adorable" Frankie said and we all laughed except camila and dinahs boyfriend. "Its not that easy Frankie" I said and she rolled her eyes. "Eithet way, what's her name" Milika said and I looked at Dinah and smiled. "Well...."

      The baby is finally here and sorry for that long time skip but what should your daughters name be? I was thinking of Hazel but idk.
