Chapter 6
(Joey’s P.O.V.)
“Hey momma when you coming home?” Sam asks through the phone and I can just see in pouting and giving me his famous puppy dogs eyes
“Soon bubba don’t you worry I don’t wanna be here. Just as much as you don’t want me to” I tell him sighing “So how was your day little man?” I ask
“It was good.” Sam tells me in an excited voice “Mary took me to the park and I made a new friend, then we had homemade pizza for dinner. “ Sam tells me “The pizza wasn’t as good as yours momma but it was still yummy, then afterward Mary took me out for ice cream like you always do.”
“Sounds like you had a fun day.” I say smiling
“It was but I miss you and can’t wait until we go to the zoo.” He tells me happily
“I can’t wait for that either.” I say chuckling lightly “Would it be alright if Rick came along with us?” I ask
“Yeah sure momma Uncle Rick can come too!” Sam tells me happily
