The New Prophecy

Many years ago, it was said that the humans and monsters were living together in harmony. But one day, war broke out between the two races. War.... why is that always the solution to everything. The humans threw their attacks and dodged many of the monsters attacks. One by one, the monsters grew tired of fighting and their attacks became weak. Soon, the humans one the battle, locking the monsters away, far under the mountain named Mt. Ebott. Many monsters stayed down on the ruins and built their homes there, while some ventured out into Snowdin, the Hotlands and Waterfall. The king settled with his wife in the kingdom in Hotland. He vowed that all humans that fall down will die, and he will gather their souls to free all the monsters from the underground. Later on, him and his wife's baby was born, and their life turned upside down. They totally forgotten about the humans and soon stared to live a happy life. Many years later, when their son was only 10, a human arrived and was severally injured in the fall. The King and Queen took them in and treated them like their own. One day, the human got severely sick and the monsters helped take care of them. Later on, the human sadly passed. One day, a monster with incredible knowledge came up with a prophecy, one that a human will help the monsters make friends again with the humans and rule a kingdom of their own, after many hardships and battles. Many monsters wait for that human to arrive, then finally, something happened. You came. You came and gave us all hope. We thank you, but don't celebrate yet, there are still many obstacles you have to yet to accomplish. We wish you luck and we believe you will save us and help us make friends with the humans again.
