"My lady... My lady." Demetra stood over Tianna, shaking her shoulder slight in hopes to wake her. Tianna rolled onto her back and her eyes blinked open.
"W-what's going o-on?" Tianna asked in a groggy voice. Tianna saw, through half shut eyes, Demetra's face go pale.
"My lady, you cannot be seen reading that!" She quickly leaned over Tianna's body and grabbed the book and shoved it under the pillow, "If the King found out that you had that book, he will have your head."
"You're not going to tell him, are you?" Tianna asked wearily.
"Of course not, my lady. In my world you would be allowed to read and learn about what you want, but sadly this isn't my world." Demetra said sadly. Demetra walked over to Tianna's wardrobe and pulled out a lose fitting shirt and trousers. She laid them out neatly on the end of the bed and picked up a bowl from the table and passed it to Tianna.
"Eat quickly, my lady, The Captian has requested for you to meet him out in the gardens." Demetra tried to rush her. Demetra walked back over to the table, "would you like me to dispose of these for you? You do not seem interested by them." She gestured towards the boxes on the table, the ones from Dryden. Unsurprisingly, another box had joined the pile.
"No, you can leave them. Thank you for your help." Demetra picked up her things and swiftly left the room, allowing Tianna to get ready in piece.
Tianna quickly ate the food she was brought and got up. The first thing she did was take the book from under her pillow and hid it under her mattress with the others. She had to be more careful. If a guard, or Nathan had seen that, she would be executed immediately.
Tianna had dressed and made her way to the gardens to meet Nathan. It was far earlier then they would normally meet to train, so had no idea what he needed her for, she didn't know of it was about training at all.
She found Nathan sat round the fountain, looking quite bored.
"What do you need, Nathan? It's too early for training." Tianna asked.
"I thought it would be a good idea to go on a run, build up your stamina. After the running test, I thought this would be good and I've only just been able to get round to it." Nathan explained to her.
"I think that's fair." Tianna said politely to him. He gestured for her to follow and she did.
They ran laps around the garden together until Tianna grew too tired to carry on.
"How... are you... still ok after... that." Tianna panted. She was exhausted.
"I've been morning runs daily for years. This was nothing for me. And I would have thought you would have more energy then that." He gave out a light chuckle
"Running has never been my strong point, but I can work on it." Tianna heard faint barking and growling coming from somewhere. She scanned around and noticed where it was coming from.
