If any of you know someone who can actually make a cover like the one I've drawn I would forever appreciate it. Who knows. Maybe I'll be inspired to write a book plot you came up with. 🙂

Hayden Panettiere as Britney Wilson

I hope you enjoy reading Grayson & Piper's love story just as much as I enjoy writing it. 🌹
-----------------------------------------
Britney Wilson was never one to believe in Greek mythology. Let alone that the gods and goddesses actually do exist, and that she is the daughter of one. Britney is the daughter of Hera, the goddess of women and marriage. Britney didn't know what to think when Hera first appeared to her when she was just a child. It was Hera who planted the seed of hatred in Britany. Towards the beginning she didn't understand why she had to hate Piper, but as she got older and she developed a crush on Grayson she suddenly understood. She wanted to have Grayson all to herself and for one reason or another he just kept rejecting her.
Hera kept telling her that he needed to time and she just had to keep insisting. She is the one who gave Britney all the brilliant ideas on how to torture Piper. Britney knew since the beginning that Piper was the problem. Grayson would never be hers as long as she was in the picture. They said so themselves and Britney has been telling Hera this for years. "I need to get rid of Piper. That's the only problem. She's in love with him. She's never going to willingly leave his side. No matter what I do to her she won't leave him." Britney had insisted to her mother. Hera had simply smiled. "Patience child. The time will come when Grayson will be yours."
Well Britney was tired of waiting. She was sick of Piper getting everything handed to her on a silver platter. She had the looks, the brains, and everyone adored her. She's an absolute angel they'd say. When she got valedictorian it seemed as if the whole world celebrated with her. Britney could still remember how jealous she was when Grayson had spun her around in a circle and kissed each of her cheeks and forehead before congratulating her. She could still see his gorgeous smile that he only ever gave to her. His eyes couldn't be torn away from her as she gave her speech and received her medal. Meanwhile no one mentioned or congratulated her when she did her speech and received her award for salutatorian.
So yes Britney was bitter, but she felt as if it was justified. Piper took everything from her without lifting a finger and Britney hated it. It came no shock to Britney to storm into her room and see Hera already sitting on her bed. "It's time." Hera spoke. The words died in Britney's throat. Hera stood up with the grace of a queen. She spoke a few words in Greek quietly and suddenly a small bottle filled with a green liquid appeared in her hand. Britney didn't say a word as Hera handed it to her. "One drop. That's all that Piper needs to drink in order for her to forget." Britney finally spoke. "What do you mean by forget?" "Why forget her love for Grayson of course! It will be as if he never existed. Grayson will be so heartbroken and you could take advantage of that and have him agree to marry you." Hera said nonchalantly as if she hasn't just given Britney the opportunity of a lifetime.
Britney smiled. "Thank you Hera. I will not fail you and your gift shall be used wisely." Hera simply smiled and with a wave of her hand was gone. The next morning Britney poured a drop of the green liquid into a water bottle. She watched in fascination as the water slowly turned into a shade of green before turning back to its original transparent color. "Wow." She muttered to herself in amazement. Britney knew that Piper always carries a water bottle with her. All she has to do was simply switch the bottles.
Britney smiled as she saw Piper rushing through the halls this morning. She's probably late to her first class of the day. She thought. Britney took the opportunity presented to her and wasted no time in shoving her shoulder into Piper thus causing all of the contents in her arms to fall to to the floor. "Watch it freak!" Britney had screeched at her as she bent down to grab Piper's bottle and switch it with hers. Piper simply threw her a harsh glare before storming off, muttering under her breath. Britney smiled and flicked her hair over her shoulder before continuing to walk in the opposite direction. Part one complete.
Piper Montgomery was ready to throw hands. Her morning had started of decent until Britney Wilson had to ruin it. The rest of the morning had passed by in a blur. By lunch she was ready to go home. She sat at her usual lunch table and patiently waited for Grayson to arrive. It's only been a few hours and Piper already missed him. "Sunshine, I've missed you." Grayson muttered before leaning over to brush a kiss to her cheek. Her heart skipped a beat. Even after all these years her heart never manages not to. "How has your day been?" Grayson asked as he sat down beside her, already taking a bite out of his cheeseburger.
Piper shrugged. "It's been an okay day. I'm just ready to go home and cuddle." Piper pulled out her water bottle and took a long drink. She stared at her drink for a long moment. "Is everything okay?" Grayson asked noticing the strange look on her face. "Yeah. It just taste different is all." Piper answered after a moment of hesitation. "I'm going to go throw it away and get a new one. I'll be right back."
Grayson nodded as Piper stood up. She felt the edge of her vision blacken and stood still for a moment, rapidly blinking hoping to restore her vision. "Sunshine, are you sure you're okay?" Grayson asked already standing by her side, his own lunch long forgotten. "I'm fine Grayson, quit worrying so much. I just stood up too quickly." Piper quickly reassured him. She placed a light kiss on his lips. "Sit back down you overprotective fool. You're causing a scene."
Grayson sat down but didn't take his eyes off of her as she walked across the cafeteria. Piper made it only halfway back before she whimpered out in pain. She bent slightly forward as her hands reached up to clutch her head. Piper's head throbbed as she slightly looked up only to gasp out in shock. Her vision was fading. "Grayson!" Piper managed to cry out before the world went black.
"PIPER!" Grayson screamed with his heart in his throat as Piper fell to ground.
