Career Day.

I woke up for school,4 more weeks until I graduate! I headed to the shower and got ready. I slipped on black and white stripped shirt and black tights with a black skirt. I slipped on a light blue jacket and black heels. I dried and straightened my hair and slipped  on a blue beanie,then did my makeup.

I grabbed my purse and got into Dallas's car,she drove off,"So I'll pick you up at 1 and take you to get your license?" she said,I smiled,"Yeah,I can't wait." I smiled,"My little sister is growing up!!" she hugged me,I giggled,"Oh shut up."

"Have a good day at school,sissy." Dallas pulled up,"Bye weirdo." I got up and headed inside."Hey Demi,guess what grade we got for our play." Harry came to me,"What?" I smiled,"We got 200/200!!" Harry smiled,"Omg yay!" I hugged him,smiling.

I heard Joe scoff behind me,I sighed,"See you,Harry." I turned around to Joe,"He was just telling me what we got for our project." I opened my locker,"Does it revolve lips?" he raised a brow,"No." I looked at him,"I'm sorry." he sighed,I just nodded.

"So are you going to come to Career day with me after school?" he leaned on the locker next to mine,"I can't. I'm getting my license and I already know what I want to do,so I found no need to go." I shrugged,he sighed,"Alright." he looked at me,"Demi,are you mad at me?"

"I'm not mad at you,I'm just upset how jealous you get,Harry is a friends,that's it. I don't like him like that,I love you,Joe. You don't need to be jealous." I looked at him,"I'm sorry." he pulled me into a warm bear hug,I closed my eyes with my head on his chest and my hands rubbing his back,"You smell good." I smiled.

He chuckled a little,"Thanks,I try."  he held me tight,"Do you guys ever breath?" Nick walked to me,"Nope. We're each other oxygen." Joe smiled,I laughed,"You're so corny." I looked up at him,"I'm what!?" Joe looked at my,shocked,"You're so corny?" 

"Oh,I totally heard that wrong." Joe chuckled,I pushed him lightly,"You're disgusting!!" I laughed a little,"Hey Demi,where is Selena?" Nick asked me,"I don't know.." I looked at him,"She's been like ignoring me after what happened a few weeks ago.."

"Nick..she is heart broken..She really liked you and you rejected her.." I looked at Nick,putting my arms around Joe,"I didn't mean to. I panicked,I like her,Demi. I need to find her,I'll see you guys later." Nick ran off.

"My last baseball game is this Friday? I want my girl to come and watch.." Joe looked at me,"You want your girl to come,eh?" I smirked,"Yeah,but she thinks she's canadian so I'm good now." he chuckled,I laughed,"I'll go. I'll watch my boy play in those tight white pants,that make your big ass pop." I giggled.

"My ass isn't big." Joe smiled,"I'm not sure about that." I pecked his lips,"I was going to ask you to prom,but since you find my ass big,forget that." he smirked against my lips,"You want to go to prom..with me?" I acted shocked.

"Don't play dumb. You know I was going to ask you." he smiled,"I was going to plan  on asking you in some romantic way,but I kind of ruined that." he chuckled,"I was just waiting you'll ask me,It's like 3 weeks away...I need to find a dress!!" I said,"I got the tickets,so you in or not? Cause I really don't want to go with Nick." he chuckled.

I kissed his lips,"Of course I'm going." I smiled,"Awesome."

"I have to get to class." I closed my locker,"Bye big ass." I smirked and walked off,"Bye beautiful."  he yelled back,I headed to class,"Hey Demi...you wanna hear something?" Harry handed me an earbud,'Uh sure." I slipped it in my ear.

"Did you and the others write this?" I looked at him,"Yeah,Zayn mostly wrote it,but yeah." he nodded,"It's awesome." I smiled.

Joe's POV.

4:00

"Let's get to career day,Joe." my mom headed downstairs,I sighed and got in her car,she drove to my school.

"I GOT MY LICENSE!!!" Demi texted me with a picture of her license,I smiled,"Flawless babe!! Awesome! :)" 

"I'm going to drop you off and find a parking lot." my mom stopped the car,"Alright." I sighed and headed inside to the gym,"Hello sir,can I tell you about the science career??" a guy asked me,I looked at the table,it really didn't interest me. "No thanks." I nodded,I headed to the table and looked,"Police Officer? Officer Joe?" I said out loud,I walked off to the next table,it was a veternarian,I chuckled a little.

I walked off to the next table,the army. "You may be asking yourself, “What is the Army Reserve?” The Army is the most powerful and sophisticated military force in the world. This force consists of two groups: active duty Soldiers and Soldiers in the Army Reserve. " the guy in his army suit started talking.

"The difference between the two? Active duty is similar to working at a full-time job — with the Army — while Army Reserve is more like a part-time job with the Army, which still lets you keep your civilian career. You can live where you want, receive medical benefits, tuition assistance, and build for retirement. In other words, in the Army Reserve, you can continue your career or education while training close to home and standing ready to serve with your valuable job skills. " he kept talking.

I was very interested.

"So I'll start bootcamp for 12 weeks,then I go back home until I get called in?" I looked at them,"Right,but you'll probably be called in 2 weeks after boot camp." the guy nodded,"I don't need a college degree?" I asked.

"Nope,once you finish boot camp you have all the knowledge. You have to be atleast 18 years old to join,an American citizen,a high school diploma,a good weight and height,and background requirement." the guy nodded.

"Awesome." I smiled and grabbed a brouchure,"Hey hun..What the Army? Really Joe?" my mom found me,"Yeah,mom..I wanna to fight for my country." I smiled,she sighed,"I won't stop you."

"Just so you know,you will loose that big set of hair when you get to boot camp." he told me,I nodded,"That's fine." I smiled and signed my name. "Glad to see you join,see you soon. Call that number on the brouchure to get  you to join." he said,I nodded and headed to the car.

"You really want to do this,hun?" my mom looked at me,I stopped,"Yeah...yeah,I do, mom." I nodded,she sighed,"Alright,she hugged me,"Just don't tell Demi yet." I sighed.

Demi's POV.

"Open the letter...is UT..."  my mom handed me the envelope,I took a deep breath,I opened the envelope,I pulled out the letter.

Congratulations! We like to inform you that you have been accepted to the University of Texas in Austin.

I screamed,"I GOT IN!!  I GOT INTO MY DREAM COLLEGE!!" I jumped up and down.
