Traveling away from my hometown in Philadelphia, was hard. Really hard. I knew that this new place I'm going to move in is going to be better. I really hoped that this place would be my way out of this misery.
My Dad told me that we're going to move somewhere in London, England. Somewhere in Southwark.
My Dad's job was moved in London. And I just graduated from college last year.
I can wait to get out of here.
Well after 36 hours of flying in an airplane, me and my Dad finally landed here in Southwark, London, England.
After from the airport we traveled to our new house. Well, I should say. Everything is better here than in Philadelphia. I was stunned by the beauty of our new house.
My Dad is a very successful civil engineer back in Philadelphia. The very reason why I took civil engineering as my college course. To continue the family business, of course.
Our neighbors seem to be decent enough. They're better than the kids back in Philadelphia.
The children back from my hometown was rude, impolite, carefree, and so disrespectful.
The homeowner across ours are really nice and kind. Her daughter is really cute and beautiful.
Her name is Ava Sangster. She is my new friend. And she told me about her older brother that she seems to adore so much. She told me his name is Thomas.
Well, unlike me. I don't have any sibling remember? So, poor me.
She said her brother is coming home about today.
And she said that she want me to meet her brother first before going back home.
Well, Ava's mom welcomed me into their house. Their house looks better than it does outside.
She showed me Thomas' room first. Then hers. I was really amazed by their house. And her mother is very nice.
Her name is Tasha Bertram. I should say that she's really a great cook.
Then while me and Ava is in her room. Their gates opened and Ava rushed there and saw her brother, right there standing before her and Tasha. While, I was behind them. I really wanted to hide. But, I can't do that, now that he saw me.
"It's nice to see that you're all doing fine despite my absence. But, who is she?", he asked, pointing to me.
Ava grabbed my hand as I attempted to walk back in her room.
"Thomas, her name is Diamond. She just moved here with her Dad from Philadelphia.", she enthusiastically introduced me.
"Oh, so that's why there's new people across our house.", he replied.
"Uh, yeah.", I said shyly.
He dropped his luggage at the corner of the house and his bag on the sofa.
"So, Diamond huh?", he asked.
"Yeah.", I answered slowly.
He probably saw in my eyes that I was so shy. I can't even look straight at him.
"Well, I gotta go back to my house and put up my room.", I quietly said.
"Nice meeting you Diamond!", Tasha replied.
"You too. Miss Tasha.", I smiled.
"Miss?", she laughed in confusion.
"Just call me Tasha, dear.", she continued.
"Got it.", I smiled once more before leaving.
"Bye Diamond!", Ava waved goodbye.
"See you later Diamond.", Thomas smiled.
"Bye guys! I'll see you all later!", I said happily.
I never thought having friends would be this good. It felt so good and calming.
Well, Southwark is really amazing. And I should say, I think Ava and Thomas are really good friends.
This day just keeps getting better and better!
