My coach was rambling on about something unnecessary to me. I was not focused at all. I was just worried about what might happen in court. My stomach was hurting because I was nervous. Not for the fact that I was about to go on the field but the fact that I am going to see Cleo today for the first time since the papers been handed to her. After my coach finished talking we ran out to the field and began our practice.

After our practice I immediately got into the shower and put on a fresh outfit. I combed through my curly hair and grabbed my keys. I locked my front door and opened the garage door. As it opened I saw the four shiny cars awaiting my presence. The door fully flew up and I chose my black Infinity. I opened the car door and started out of the driveway. I looked at the info I got from the agency and drove to her house. As I was at a red light I thought of how she would react when she saw my face.

Maybe shewouldbehappy ? Nope ! She won't,for crying out loud I am sending her to court. I saw the light the change and drove off. I looked at the street address to make sure it was right then I parked my car at the curb. I took a deep breath and then opened the door. I locked the door to my Infinity and then walked to her front door. I fixed my hair and knocked on her door. I waited for five minutes until she finally came to the door. She looked tired and her hair was all over. She just looked at me.

" What are you doing here ?! Leave ! and how you got my address. " she said rolling her eyes

" Cleo, I don't want no trouble " I said

" You found trouble when you gave me that envelope " she said

" I want to see my baby. And you won't let that happen " I said

" You got 2.5 seconds to leave off of my front steps or else I will call the cops " she said

Without hesitation I left her house. I rubbed my forehead and opened the door to my car and got in. I drove off in a hurry so I wouldn't face the cops. I banged the steering wheel. Maybe I shouldn't have done that shit. I really did love Cleo still. She had my first baby. I should of been there for her. I was so stupid. My phone rang and I stopped at the red light to answer it.

" Hello " I said

" Hey baby, you busy ? " Solange said. Solange is my girlfriend. She was in college trying to get her Phycology degree.

" No, I'm not busy. What happen ? " I said

" I want some food " she said.

" Really ? You called for food. I know you home " I said driving down the block

" I'm studying. Just bring me food. " I finally gave in and then hung up. I stopped at this Jamaican restaurant two blocks away from her house. I walked in the restaurant and waited on line. I waited and then some young boy came up to me.

" Hey your Charles Santiago ! " He said so happy

" Yeah , That's me " I said smiling

" Can I have a picture ? " I nodded and took a picture with him making silly faces. He waved goodbye and I walked up to the cashier.

" Can I get a large plate with Oxtails and white with plantains and steam vegetables and a cream soda" I said

" Your total is 20.00 " she said with an accent. I handed her my money and stepped to the side waiting for the food. I sat in a nearby chair and leaned back I heard a familiar voice and looked up and saw Jordan with a group of people. I ignored him.
