The Note and Necklace

About a month later, Phoenix Jones, was brushing, or at least trying to through her dark brown bushy hair. When Cheyenne came in the room. She look at her with a look of confusion and grabbed the book Phoenix was holding with one hand and it was rest, sort of, on her knee. Cheyenne put it in the bookmark then slammed it shut. " Hey!" Phoenix stopped brushing and glanced up at Cheyenne, " What did you do that for?"

Cheyenne chuckled under her breath then said " You've studied enough this summer vacation. It's your break! Do something exciting!" Phoenix shook her head back and forth, reached out for the book but Cheyenne moved it back. " No, no, no. Your going to enjoy yourself you have a whole month left." Phoenix shrugged and pulled her hair back into a high ponytail and walked down stairs for breakfast. The twins, Zane and Lawrence, were hiding their inventions from their mom before she came back in the room. The twins had blond hair, the only ones in their family with it, light brown eyes, and freckles. They were both 15, two years older than Phoenix, yet they acted like they were 8. But Phoenix thought that's what great about them. Grayson came down the stairs, yawning ,and still in his pajamas. Grayson had freckles, like his brothers, dark brown hair, light brown eyes, and was 14. Cheyenne eventually walked downstairs. She has dirty blond hair, dark blue eyes, a large nose, and is 14.

Travis sat down next to Cheyenne and 'made some moves'. Cheyenne didn't take it very well and slapped him. Travis is 15, has silvery blond hair, green eyes, and always wears green somewhere. Phoenix has bushy dark brown hair that's always curly, a darker skin tone than the others but it's more of a tan, and has two different colored eyes. One is a light blue and one is a light mint green.

". Chey, but you lost the bet!" Travis cried " You have to go out with me! Please--" Travis got cut off by a loud clank and a screech from an owl. The owl flew in the house and had something in its beak. " GET OUT! OH GET OUT! ZANE, GET THE HOSE! NO LAWRENCE DON'T SPRAY IT IN THE HOUSE!" Another load clank and Mrs. Tike fell in a bucket and still had the broom in her hand. " Lawrence, dear, GET ME OUT OF THIS!" Mrs. Tike wasn't the skinniest person but she certainly wasn't the largest. Just somewhere between. Lawrence helped his mother out of the bucket while Zane grabbed the hose and had his 'chance to spray the owl. The barn owl was resting on the rusty shelf in the living room. Zane walked over to it slowly then--

SPLASH. Water went everywhere. Everyone was soaking wet. " My toast!!" Travis cried.

" ZANE, THATS THE BROKEN HOSE WHAT DID I TELL YOU THE FIXED ONE--" The owl swooped over and knocked Mrs.Tike out cold. "Mom!?" Grayson yelled as he ran over to her but slipped on some water and hit his head hard. Lawrence went outside and turned of the water, finally. Cheyenne got an ice pack out for Mrs. Tike and Grayson. After 10 minutes or so Mrs. Tike woke up. " ZANE, LAWRENCE! WHEN YOUR FATHER COMES HOME--" But Zane but his hand over her mouth and whispered, Phoenix thought this was soothing but it didn't work, " It's ok mother, everything is fine--"
"NO ITS NOT FINE. WATER IS EVERYWHERE!" She yelled. She stood up and grabbed the twins by their ears and dragged them down stairs, pointed a finger at the floor and said in a calmer voice. " Clean. This. Up. Now."

After an hour or so of cleaning Phoenix noticed the owl was still on the cabinet and what it had in its beak was a necklace and a note. It dropped the note and necklace gently and flew off. Phoenix grabbed the note and read.

Dear Phoenix,
I will be expecting your appearance soon and when I do you will understand why I have this to you and why you need it. This note must be short because I don't have much time but I'm sorry I can't explain everything. Hope your summer is good so far because in the next month you'll be with me. Your friends, Grayson, Cheyenne, Lawrence, Zane, and Travis must stay here. It's to risky for them to follow you. The necklace will be explained soon. We will send two men to watch after you and bring you to use.

Who is  Dimitri and Dakota? What's the necklace for? Where am I going?
Phoenix motion them to go upstairs and she told them about here note and showed them the necklace. It had a gold chain that held it and a crystal at the end. In different lighting it would change colors. Phoenix's friends were interested by the stuff she got but no one could decipher it.
