Hey guys! Sorry it took me forever! I've been so busy lately with my nephews, bf, and all my friends that I just didn't have any time >°< btw, I recently I got 350 views!!! That is so awesome!

Anyways, I hope you enjoy it thought it's really short. I'm going to start working on it a lot more now!

Lily's POV

Alright so maybe lying to Matthew was a bit harsh, but it's what I had to do. I mean if I had told him where I was going he would have told me no and confined me to the house. He would never approve of visiting an ex. I wouldn't have if it wasn't of the utmost importance.

"So may I ask why you need to use our libraries?" Damon called over his shoulder. He was leading me and Alyssa to the Library level. "Well, I suppose I could tell you. I am searching for information on Insanity Pack. I've recently become the Luna of Snow Pack and we have had some problems." I said it as though this was the most normal thing in the world.

Damon in front of me stiffened and froze for a moment. He shivered then continued to walk to reward. "Sometimes you're calmness frightens me." I shrugged, "Its how I deal with shit." I heard Alyssa snort beside me. "Oh shut the hell up I only brought you here because Matthew made me bring a guard!" I snapped. "Who is Matthew?" I sighed, "Matthew  is my mate." I saw the back of his head nod.

Alyssa faked a cough and said "Worthless." I had begun to notice Alyssa had taken a real disliking towards Matthew. It was making me nervous, Alyssa had been known to be violent..

"We're here." Damon said in a flat voice. He swung open a wooden door to reveal hundreds of books forming a large library. "Its huge." I looked around and was amazed, trying not to think of the amazing books that could be here... No I was  here for one reason. And finding the perfect book was not one of them.

"Thank you," I said and walked inside right behind him. "We have the history of all the packs in the forest over at the far end of the library and if you need anything, ask Mrs. Carpal, me, or Alexandra where ever she is..." He shrugged and looked around awkwardly. I could tell he felt uncomfortable.

I give him a hug then he left me and Alyssa to do our business. As I stared at his back I couldn't help but see that happy, smiling, flirtatious, boy who everyone adored. The boy who always would play truth and dare with me and send each others notes during classes. The thought that all these Times were gone was not an easy thing to swallow.

Apparently my sadness was clear on my face because a moment later Alyssa was standing beside me with worry clear in her eyes. "You okay Sis?" I looked away and nodded. "Yeah it's just....He has changed..." "And its not like you haven't?" She arched an eyebrow. Well I guess she had a point. I wasn't the perky cheer leading girlfriend anymore. I was now the anti social, hated Luna. The girl who screwed everything up. I turned my head, unwilling to admit she was right.

"Come on let's get started, you go to that far end-" I pointed to the end of the library, -"And I'll take the opposite side." She nodded and gave me a small smile.

I walked to my end and shuffled around, looking down the aisles for no particular reason. I simply stared at the books titles hoping to see some thing like 'Insanity Pack is Evil' or... maybe 'Insanity Pack is full of  Suicidal Idiots' I think the second one was more likely.

A title captured my attention. to myself I read 'Secrets of the Forest' Transfixed I grabbed the book from the Dusty shelf. On the cover I saw a lone wolf, clearly wounded from the blood, stood with Its head thrown back in a howl. I touched the cover tentatively. It's cover was made from tough leather. It was so old... I picked it up and shoved it into my purse. It felt like a secret, a secret that should not be shared though I had no idea why at the time.

I backed out of the aisle holding my purse protectively. "What's wrong Lily?" Alyssa's voice called from behind me. I stiffened. I relaxed my muscles, put a terrified look on my face, and quickly came up with a story.

"I-I " I fake stammered, "saw a caterpillar on the shelf!" I shuddered. I had a VERY RATIONAL fear of caterpillars. The very sight of a caterpillar made me scream and run away.

Alyssa loved to tease me about it so I knew this was a good excuse. Alyssa's sullen face suddenly spread into a smirk, " Oh my poor older sister!" She faked a concerned expression, "Should I go and kill the big bad caterpillar?" "I smashed it with a book." I tried to look embarrassed. She laughed so obviously I had fooled her. I felt a flood of relief. and a bit of embarrassment. definitely embarrassment.

"I found two books so far."  She smiled and lead me over to a wooden table where she set them down beside each other. The titles read, "The Dark Packs" and "The Bloody Packs" "It's a good start." I nodded.

I pulled out my phone and saw I had a missed call. It's was Matthew. "Shit." I muttered. "What do I do?" Alyssa just shrugged unhelpfully.

I sighed and put my phone back in my pocket. "Well, I don't have to call him back this minute, I guess."

Alyssa didn't answer, she just walked away with a simple, "I'm going to look some more." "wait!" I called out after her. She stopped and turned to face me with a careless expression.

"What is it, Lily?"

"C'mon we should get back to Snow Pack, we got all the books we need for now." I said and put the rest of my books in my bag. "alright." she sighed, "let's go back to lame old Snow Pack."
