It was a week after the Grand Prix Final where Yuri had managed to gain a silver medal, his first time on the podium. The early morning pail blush of dawn was visible on the horizon. Yuri took a deep breath of the salt infused air as the cool breeze pricked at his exposed skin.

What now? Yuri thought to himself. He had already decided with Victor that they would stay together, parting was not an option, the very thought of living a day without Victor gripped at his chest. But even so, they had never been open about their feelings for each other, always communicating through movements their undying love for one another.

"Yuri!"

Yuri was snapped out of his thoughts as the cheerful Russian approached him, bearing his usual bright smile. As he gazed upon Yuri an adoring look filled his eyes.

Yuri grinned at him, the silver haired man always had a way to make Yuri's anxiety melt away.

Victor joined Yuri, both of them becoming lost in the oceans depths, looking for answers, consciences heavy but enjoying each other's company none the less.

"Hey Yuri," Victor faced his lover with a slight hint of uncertainty laced in his words, his confident facade dropping. "You left the house early, is something on your mind?"

Yuri's anxiety from before came flooding back, his stomach knotting and his heart hammering against his chest.

"No..." Yuri lied, his voice quivering under the pressure of his heavy thoughts. Victor saw though his obvious attempt at evasion and his gaze hardened.

"Yuri, I can't help if you don't say what's wrong." He placed a reassuring hand on the younger man's shoulder.

Yuri took a deep breath to silence his thoughts and tried an attempt at cracking a smile to put Victor's mind at ease, which he assumed turned out as more of a grimace. The edge of Victor's lips twitched as a slight frown appeared on his face. Then a light seemed to glisten behind his eyes, a broad grin once again taking his features and his voice adopted a playful tone. "Yuri, if you don't tell me what's wrong," he said with a mischievous smirk "I'll be forced to prevent you from eating katsudon for a full month."

"That's hardly fair!" Yuri whined sighing in defeat, his shoulders hunching forward. Victor let out a triumphant chuckle.

Yuri sucked in a sharp breath and focused his gaze on the ground, confessing what had been eating away at his mind. "Victor, we haven't really talked about what...well... what we are..." his voice caught at the end, the fear of Victors response caused tears to prick at the corner of Yuri's eyes.

He stole a glance at the Russian whose face was riddled with shock. The expression Victor was wearing caught Yuri off guard and he flinched a little. Yuri's movement snapped Victor from his daze as he shook his head to clear his thoughts.

"Yuri what do you mean?" Victor questioned, dumbfounded but listening intently. He observed every movement, those crystal blue eyes bearing into Yuri.

"I mean that, what are we going to do now? What are...uhh....our feelings towards one another" His voice tapered off to a barely audible whisper, his eyes downcast and his hair shielding his face from Victors view.

The wind billowed around them, tugging at their hair as an uneasy silence settled around the pair. Finally Victor spoke.

"Yuri..." his breath hitched and his voice quivered. At this Yuri's stomach twisted tighter, his heart jumped to his throat and his head snapped up to meet Victor's gaze.

A small sob wracked through the Russians body and his hands shook, tears cut rivers across his lightly pink cheeks.

A small squeak escaped Yuri, surprised by Victor's response.
