Light seeps through curtains,
an unfamiliar room greets me.
I feel a weight,sleek and long,
hanging from my sides.
I sit up in defence.
"Who are you?"-my voice speaks.
His face emerges from the heap of cotton.
That familiar face appears miraculously.
My body feels weak,
my eyes want to run from its sockets.
"Your husband", he replies.
I don't remember anything at all.
I want to run.
But this, is a miracle!
The man I once was a small shrimp to
is now sitting in front of me.
What is this? Is this real?
I hold his face in my hands,
his skin is soft and pale.
It's real. It's real.
I scream for joy.
We end up cuddling the day away.
He keeps asking if I am okay.
I only nod. This is too real.
I savour the moment as we cuddle,
we are even closer than
I imagined before.
Then just as I lean in to press my lips against his,
he disappears. I black out.
I open my eyes again to face a white ceiling-
it's a sickly white. Disgusting.
Where did I teleport to again?
Oh wait. It's my room again.
