I sit up and look to the window.
The sun has set.
The stars are shining brightly again.
This is real right?
I pinch myself
But I can't trust myself again.
My whole body is numb.
I start sobbing into the bedsheets,
Head buried in the pillow.
As I am greeted by the sun again,
I turn to my phone on the side table-
32 messages and 15 missed calls.
I scroll the through the top news.
He is back I tell myself.
My frown slowly turns upside down.
I try hard not to smile-
it isn't working.
I scream in joy and
Prance around the room, this is
Real!
I go on a mad rush to the airport.
Everything else is done sloppily,
My clothes, hair and makeup is a mess
But I don't care.
I rush towards the front
To stand right behind the barriers.
I wait until the screaming starts-
he has arrived.
I stare at the entrance,
I stare at the bodyguards,
And there he emerges.
His smile is blinding.
My eyes glue to him as he walks by
The crowd and approaches me.
Then our eyes connect for a while,
The whole world seems to stop,
A familar feeling creeps up my spine.
Nostalgia.
