An Unexpected Surprise (Caspar Lee)

   My alarm wakes me up as I get a reminder of today : it's my birthday.

I turn to find that the other side of the bed is empty, the imprint of the shape of my boyfriend still there but not him.

I put my head back into my pillow and breathe in the smell of the fresh sheets as I decide that it's time to get out of my cocoon and that I have to get dress.

My feet touch the cold floor, they slide on the wooden floor as I go to the kitchen to get some breakfest.

I was hoping that Caspar was home so we could have a romantic breakfest made by « moi » but when I see the note on the bar, I know that he has left :

Hey baby girl, Joe needed me for a video so I'm going to be at his for the day. I'll see you later, love you

He didn't even write « happy birthday», nothing.

I just hope that he hasn't forgotten, I mean three years with this amazing weirdo is a lot, especially when it comes to Caspar and all because of Conor who happens to be my best friend. 

I still worship Conor to this day because without him, I probably would have never met this wonderful human being that makes every day of mine shine and filled with laughter.

Thinking of how we met bring me back to all the trips we've gone to together for my birthday, all the times that we have spent enjoying each other's company, all the times we would fool around and the times that he has made me laugh so much that I forget every single worry.

My phone rings when I see that Conor is calling me :

Hey Con, what up bro ?

Hey Y/N, I have a mission to fufill today and I have to take you out so be ready in 10 minutes. See ya !

I couldn't even answer that Conor had already hung up.

 I eat up my breakfest and go to Caspar and I's room and go to closet, taking out a pair of burgendy leggings with one of Caspar's black hoodies and my black trainers.

 I put my hair into a messy bun and put on light makeup, I never put on too much.

The doorbell rings and I run to the door and find Conor. He smiles and hugs me when he asks :

« Happy birthday ! » he says with a smile

« Thank you ! »I say with a squeal in my voice

« Have you got everything to go ? »

« Yeah, let's go, wherever we're going »

He laughs as we go to his car.

 He starts driving when one of his songs pass on the radio, we fill the car with my terrible voice and his sweet voice that matches perfectly.

 We stop in front of the shopping center when I get out of the car, looking at Conor with a quizzical look :

« What are we... »

But I get cut of by two people that hug me, my girls, the most amazing people I know : Zoe and Louise :

« HAPPY BIRTHDAY ! » the voices say as they fill my ears

« What are you doing here ?! » I say with tears in my eyes and a smile on my face

« We are here to treat you, birthday gal !» Louise says with a smirk as Zoe laughs

They both take one of my arms and lead me in the shopping center.
