Christmas Special!!! (Mikan X Natsume)

Mikan POV

Christmas is this exciting holiday where many people get together with their family, unwrap presents given by this magical man named Santa, and come on, free toys. Who wouldn't be exciting about that? Well me. I don't really enjoy Christmas. As a young child Christmas has never been my favorite holiday. Most christmas I usually spent the whole day by myself, wake up the next day with no presents pile up under the 'christmas tree' I never even bothered decorating. You can say, my christmas spirit has been completely destroyed.

Today was christmas eve, and I can already hear Permy talking about how great the christmas party she's hosting will be. She invited Natsume, Hotaru, Ruka, everyone but me. And what would I expect? She completely hates me. I'm supposedly the bad guy for stealing away 'her' Natsume. I sighed heavily, I guess i really don't have any exciting plans.

Everyone in the classroom was wearing Santa claus hats, reindeer antlers, and even Koko showed up wearing a Santa Claus costume. They were all excited especially since the academy for once, allowed us to wear a outfit of our choice as a christmas present. I used this chance to wear a hoodie with a small cute little panda in the front. Not really having anything to do with christmas but hey, the little panda bear was simply adorable that I couldn't resist not wearing.

As I was in deep thought, I felt arms wrapped around my waist surprising the living shit out of me. It was rather warm and I knew the only person who can give me this comforting warmth. It was Natsume. He looked bored out of his mind, wearing a santa claus hat that was forced on him. I couldn't help but smile and find this side of Natsume adorable.

"Oh look at you, affectionate today." I teased him, letting him nuzzle into my neck. "It must be a christmas miracle." I joked, as he glared at me for a couple of minutes and then continue to cuddle me. I couldn't help but glance at the invitation he had sticking out of his pockets. I was wondering if I should ask him if he was going to attend the party but knowing him, he would make some sort of smart remark like "Aw is Polka dots jealous.' while wearing that annoying (sexy) smirk on his face.

So as stubborn as a rock, I didn't bother to ask.

I sighed in relief when I heard the sound of the bell. I can finally go back to my room where I'm safe from having to hear anything about Santa. A few hours have passed and I knew almost everyone was in Permy's room doing what god knows what. They might be having a blast of fun, eating desserts, laughing amongst fellow friends, and worst of all, Natsume might be there spending christmas eve with Permy but not me. Before I knew it, I felt lonely. There was nothing to watch, nothing to do, and I barely had anything to eat. 'Best christmas ever' I thought to myself. I wrapped myself in my blankets and closed my eyes hoping I can fall asleep the whole day and get rid of this hole in my heart.

Sadly this plan was interrupted by a knock on my window. I blinked and wondered who the hell it was. Everyone should have been in the party, even that stupid guy Jose. I decided to ignore it but the knocking just got more louder and persistent. I angrily kicked off the blankets and walked over to the window to see no other person but Natsume. 

"Natsume?" I rubbed my eyes, making sure I wasn't dreaming. He grumbled and slid inside my room.

"You sure know how to make a guy wait."

"Oh shut up, you should of been in Permy's party."

"Your right." He said simply. "I should have."

"Well it isn't to late." I said pointing to the door. I tried my best to keep my emotions hidden."There's the door you never seem to use." I said, my lips quivering. "I hope you enjoy your time."

"You never let me finish." He sighed and then flashed a smirk towards me. "I should of went but I knew you would be alone, crying, missing me-"

"Get out." I said having an annoy mark knowing what he was saying is regrettably true.

He dugged through his jacket and pulled out a box from it. "Kicking me out without letting me have the chance to give you your christmas present.." He said, looking away as an attempt to hide his blush. I was looking at him and then at the box, and then back at him.

"This really is a christmas miracle."

"Oh shut up, if you don't want it I'll give it to Permy." He pulled the box away.

"No I want it!" I quickly grabbed his arm as he smirked and dropped it into my hand.

"Then Merry Christmas Polka Dots." He said as he stood up, putting his left foot on the window ledge ready to jump out.

"Wait!" I called out, desperately. He blinked and looked at me.

"What."

"Where are you going"

"You told me to get out."

"I-" I blushed, trying my best to tell him to stay. I didn't want to spend another christmas eve alone. For once I wanted to at least spend it with someone special. Someone special like Natsume.

Natsume smirked. "Well I might consider staying." He said almost like he was reading my mind and was trying to find a way to tease me about it. "If you say 'Natsume please don't go' then I might just stay.' He said enjoying this.

I couldn't help but blush. There was no way I'll go so low to listen to what Natsume wants me to do. I took a deep breath and walked up to him. I feel like I'm going to regret this but in the same time not.

"Natsume." I said and before he could say anything, I pulled on his collar and kissed him gently. "Natsume..... please don't ....go." I mumbled embarrassedly hiding my face into his chest. Yes I might have said what he wanted me to say but, based on the surprised expression he had on his face, he might not having expected me to kiss him so boldly. He pulled me close to him, blushing.

"Dummy." He said as we both just stood there for what seemed like an eternity. I never knew how happy I could of felt on this day and now I know for a fact, this is the best christmas eve.

A/N- Hey guys!!! Happy New year!!!! I finally was able to get a update in. Well a really late update. My plan was  to have updated this christmas special of course on christmas but it didn't really go as I planned. So gomen T w T
