Mikan
I don't really what I should be feeling right now, as I rush directly towards Persona's office with Natsume and Hotaru following behind. The feelings are mixed with confusion, hate, hurt, and even love in the same time.
I can't blame my own mother for her own decisions she made, and for some reason I feel that she did it for the better in my future. It might sound crazy and weird, but without everything that has happened, I might not have seen Natsume anytime soon. Yes her death led to my abuse, but then it also led to my light.
My light who is Natsume..and Hotaru
I bolted into Persona's office slamming the door open, hitting it hard to the wall then it bounced right back at me, hitting me in the face.
I rubbed my nose "That wasn't a entrance I expected." I sweat dropped watching Persona's legs raised on his desk and his arms crossed around his chest, waiting for something to happen.
He already assured something happened based on, I wasn't wearing my mask and I happen to come rushing in with Natsume and a supposedly a avoiding Hotaru. Either way, it surprised him a bit, didn't know in the first day, that Sneaky Fox would be found out by Ice queen and Black Neko.
"Mind telling me what is the meaning of this?" Persona asked leaning back on his rolling chair, drinking a cup of coffee while I kicked the chair towards his shelf causing his objects to fall off.
"Im quitting, simple." I bluntly demanded hearing a response that wasn't what I wanted to hear. His laughter erupted the room and he flashed me a amuse look in his eyes.
"Do you really expect you'll be quitting just like that?!" He laughed even more "If that was the case Black Neko and Ice queen would have already freed from being my pest."
"We had a deal!" Hotaru interrupted, holding out her baka gun.
"And I kept my deal, She was safe wasn't she?"
"My point of the deal was you getting your filthy hands off her." Hotaru said while Persona smirked.
"Seems I broke that deal off." This got Natsume annoyed, making Persona's strand of raven hair, burn into ashes. Persona wiped it off and pouted.
"That's mean Neko, you surely don't know your places." He said clicking a button as Hotaru and Natsume falls down on the ground gasping in pain from the shocks of waves going into there body.
"Natsume! Hotaru!" I yelled at them, holding there shoulders, shaking them in fear. "Let them go! Can you see they are in pain!"
"Theres only one way for you to stop there pain." Persona laughed, clapping his hands.
"I'm not working for you anymore." I proclaimed with venom in my mouth while Persona shrugs.
"I guess they can stay being in pain. A friend you are, they're here suffering the same pain as you, and you aren't even helping them."
"Shut up."
"Can you see they are in pain?"
"Shut up.."
"Wouldn't those the exact words you proclaimed." Persona said pulling my hair and tilting my chin up to him. "Just say 'You are not quiting.' and they would be release of the pain. Simple.'
"I-I..'
"Don't do it Baka!' Hotaru yelled within screaming, holding her head "This pointless pain isn't going to kill us."
"Let go of her.." Natsume said shooting fire towards Persona's arm making him drop me, while I fell to my knees.
"But Mikan, they still feel pain. Work for me and I'll keep my promise. Because Im someone who follows by a code."
"I have no intention of working with you." I said trying not to stutter, making Persona annoyed.
"Don't you care about your reputation, the deal?" He asked leaning back on the chair with a snap of his fingers, the pain that was rushing through Hotaru and Natsume vanished, but left them breathless.
I ran towards them, checking if they were okay before flashing Persona angry eyes, and not caring mixed within my big brown eyes usually mistaken for Olive or Amber.
"I don't give a damn of the deal anymore! People already hates me around here! My secret is just going to add on to the hatred but I'm happy still. I'll have Natsume, Ruka pyon, and Hotaru with me." I took out the letter clenching it. "And my mother to believe in."
"Oh your mother, a good pest of controlling."
"She wasn't your pest to control in the first place."
"Really how come?"
"You didn't control her feelings, love, and even her future."
"I did...I was her part of the reason she died.." Persona chuckled "Leaving her future behind." He said pointing to me, but one thing he doesn't know is that she gave me her future. With this letter, her word engulfed in my heart, she never was gone to begin with.
"From Suicide....I know...depression...the same hell she had, she passed to me." I said helping Natsume and Hotaru up, by plopping there arms on my shoulders "Meaning, I don't need another devil in my life." I said shutting the door behind me, leaving a amuse Persona.
"Why Mikan..Sakura..interesting girl." Persona proclaimed drinking his cup of leftover coffee. "Yuka..I'll surely make your daughter become my pest." He laughed while making a phone call.
"Hello...yes...bring the two new transfer student in."

Mikan's Point of view
While I was walking down the hallway chatting to Natsume and Hotaru about how I managed to stand up to him, I saw two unusual students walk by. One was a girl with short strawberry-blonde hair that almost reaches her shoulders and cold blue eyes. The other student was a guy who looked foreign, he had blonde hair tied in a low ponytail and dashing green eyes. I never seen them around the school. If they did, they wouldnt be easy to miss out.
"Bonjour Mi'lady" He whispered to me, walking away with the strange girl who gave me a cold glare.
