—"Zayn, quit! Come on," Solána shouted, trying to get him to eat the last piece of fish.
"No!" He moved his mouth away and grimaced, "I'm full."
"Just one bite--"
"You eat it."
"No, I can't, that's mean."
"You can cook it but can't eat it?" Zayn scoffed, "hypocrite."
"I am not," she huffed and crossed her arms, "eat it."
"I've had enough," Zayn got up and set his plate on the counter, "what did you eat?"
"Nothing yet. I'm not hungry."
"Of course you aren't -- wait, wait, wait," a devilish smirk showed up on his face and she furrowed her brows, "let's talk about something real quick."
"What?"
"I heard you swear earlier."
"No you--"
"I did," he sat back down on the couch with a laugh, "I'll reenact this, if you want--"
"That won't be necessary," she rolled her eye, "it didn't happen--"
"Fuck, fuck, fuck..." he changed, trying to impersonate her rolling his eyes to the back of his head, "don't stop--"
"Stop it, Zayn!" she slapped his shoulder and blushed furiously, covering it up with giggles, "that's not what I sounded like."
"It is," he giggled uncontrollably, "come here."
"I am here," she replied in confusion.
"No, like," he pat his lap and she finally got it, sitting in his lap and hugging him close, "there we go."
Solána hummed, kissing his forehead repeatedly. "I love you, Zayn."
"I love you, too, baby," he kissed her lips and smiled, "I love you, I love you, I love you..."
She giggled, sighing into his warm kiss. She smiled brightly, pushing her hand through his hair.
"No matter what happens, right?"
Solána pulled away, looking at him only to see his eyes closed. She didn't want to think about it like that. There were other ways, but, Zayn oftentimes did think negatively.
"Zayn, I--"
"I know you saw the future earlier," he cut in politely, "I could tell by the way you kept looking at me. Don't tell me anything, okay?"
"Okay."
"Just," he gulped and finally opened his eyes. She wanted him to close them again because it was too much for her, "tell me we'll be fine."
She couldn't tell him the truth, that would only make him panic then the future would change to something worse. She hated lying to him but it's what she had to do.
"Solána..."
She shook her thoughts away and finally looked back at him, "you'll be fine, Zayn. We'll be fine."
"Okay," and he seemed to accept that, even though he still doubted most things. At least he didn't ask her to promise, because she might've ran out the room.
Solána honestly hoped everything was going to be fine.
