Taehyung and Jimin took their time to get to Jimin's place. It wasnt very far though, since Jimin lived in the dorms provided by the school."Are you feeling better?" Taehyung asked after a couple of minutes of silence.
"Yeah. I think the fresh air helped." Jimin said.
"...I hope you're not possessed or anything now..." Taehyung said so sincerely, it caused Jimin to chuckle.
"Hey! I'm serious." Taehyung pouted. Since he believed in such things, it was a very real scenario that Jimin might have been possessed or attacked by a ghost, and that it was the cause of his knees giving out.
"I know Tae, sorry." Jimin smiled. Shortly after, his expression fell a little. "Do you think Yoongi hyung will start nagging at me again?" Jimin asked.
Taehyung pondered on that. "Yeah. Probably. He might think I'm just covering for you or something, he looked a little suspicious even after I told him you ate."
Jimin groaned. "It's so unfair. I didn't even do anything wrong and he'll be like a hawk again, won't he?"
"He's just worried Jiminie." Taehyung said, kicking some snow.
"Yea..." Jimin said, looking conflicted.
Taehyung noticed the dip in Jimin's mood and threw an arm around his shoulders. "Hey, how about we watch a movie tonight. You can pick." Taehyung offered his boxy grin.
"Sure Tae." Jimin chuckled.
Meanwhile, the atmosphere in the club room was far more tense.
"You said... she told you? You knew Kyung Mi?" Hoseok asked, feeling sceptical and confused.
"Not...not exactly." Jungkook glanced at Kyung Mi. "She...well..." Jungkook paused. He wondered if it was best to just tell them. They were after all the occult club, and seemed to be into ghost hunting or whatever they were doing earlier. So maybe they would understand his mysterious ability without judging. Perhaps someone here had simikar experiences.
"Well??" Namjoon pressed.
Jungkook took a deep breath and squeezed his eyes shut. "I can see ghosts." It felt weird to say it. He regretted it as soon as the words left his mouth, and he started feeling sick.
There was a silence. Jungkook opened his eyes. They all stared at him in disbelief. Jungkook's mouth opened and closed, he looked for something else to say, for a way to take it back. A crash was heard from the other side of the room. Jin had dropped his tea mug. His eyes were brimming with excitement, and he quickly stepped over to Jungkook, leaning almost too close.
"You can see them?" He asked breathlessly.
No, he wanted to say. "Yes." Jungkook mumbled and looked down.
"This... this is amazing!" Jin declared and stood straight, looking rather triumphant.
"Hyung, you don't believe him, do you?" Namjoon said. "He says he can SEE GHOSTS."
"Hmm... is there any way you can prove to us that you can see them?" Jin asked, curiosity taking over any other thought or feelings he might have.
Jungkook was flabbergasted. He felt cornered, this whole experience was awful. He wondered why he needed to prove anything to these people that he didn't even know. All he was he for, was to deliver a message.
"I... I just wanted to give the message." Jungkook said.
"You can't expect us to believe you just like that. We're not idiots." Yoongi said. "Now, tell us what you're really here for? To harass Hoseok?"
