"i should call someone to come and help me" sehun clumsily scrambles to his feet and goes to reach for his phone but before he even has the chance to unlock it, it lights up with a call coming from.. minseok?

"what the-" sehun's eyebrows furrow involuntarily as he goes over the caller id once again to make sure that he's reading right. his eyes travel from his phone screen to the body that's resting next to him hesitantly and slowly.

but sehun almost feels as if his breath has been caught in his lungs when he sees minseok lying there ever so peacefully, caught deep in his infinite sleep.

"i'm going crazy" he mumbles to himself as he turns his attention back to his ringing phone. with a slide of a thumb, the call gets connected and sehun puts his phone to his ear curiously.

"h-hello?" he intently listens for any hints of his friend's voice but instead, he hears what he thinks is the sound of heavy breathing followed by the sound of dripping liquid.

"the fucking drip drop noise again" his grip tightens around his phone as he feels a mix of anger and confusion start to bubble up in his chest.

hanging up, he slams his phone down on the floor, the sound of cracking glass filling the heavy air of the room.

"i'm so sorry" he repeatedly whispers to himself softly while his fingers slowly find their way around minseok's ankles.

with shivering hands, sehun begins to slowly drag his dead friend's body across the lonely, cold floor of his bedroom.

soon, the repeated sound of faint thumps coming from minseok's head echo around his living room as sehun pulls him down the steep staircase.

sehun's heart is beating at a dangerously quick pace as he thinks about what his friends would do if they found out about what he's done. for some reason, the face of a particular friend of his who goes by the name yixing pops up in his mind.

sehun feels beads of sweat form on his forehead as he remembers just how close yixing and minseok are- were.

he tries to shake his thoughts away and focus on what's going on in front of him. he struggles to unlock the back entrance door with his shaky hand, softly dropping minseok's ankle to try again with his other hand.

he swings the door open, revealing his small and empty roofed backyard. his eyes scan around his surroundings in search for something that can replace a shovel.

to his surprise, he spots a spade and his eyes almost light up before he realizes how he's gonna use it. he feels hesitation creep up from the back of his mind but he shakes his head determinedly.

"stop thinking" he orders to himself as he picks minseok's ankle up again and pulls him onto the grass. he swears that he can almost hear muffled noises come from his dead friend's mouth but he tries to block them out.

"you're just hearing things" he reassures himself over and over again as he crouches down in the center of his backyard and begins to dig the already dead grass out.

he keeps his gaze set on his hands and tries not to let the deadened calls of his name distract him.

sehun manages to carve out a small rectangular hole in the middle of his desolated backyard, still all the while, his supposedly dead friend constantly chokes on his own breath and weakly pulls onto his "friend"'s sleeve but sehun harshly yanks his arm away each time.

he knows that it's just his thoughts and that nothing that he's hearing is real because his friend is dead. the dead can not breath, the dead can not speak, the dead can not move.

that's why sehun doesn't even look at his friend's face as he lightly kicks him into the newly dug out crypt. he keeps his eyes set on minseok's thin and pale ankles as his body slowly rolls into his own grave.

without any signs of hesitation, sehun begins to dump dirt onto minseok's squirming body. his breaths shorten and quicken and his grip on the handle of his snape tightens as he hears his friend's voice get fainter and fainter with every layer of soil.

he kicks the dirt down with the bottom of his boots to make sure that it's packed properly but his body tenses up even more than it already was when he begins to hear desperate screams erupting from under his foot.

"stop it, be quiet" he mutters as his fingers find their way into his tangled hair, pulling harshly at the locks. he feels his eyes begin to sting as he listens to the muffled cries of his poor friend.

"shut up!" he yells, feeling his warm tears begin to pour down his face, flooding his dirt-stained shirt. he listens but the screams only get louder instead.

he storms into his living room and immediately goes for his radio. snatching it off the counter, he rushes back into his backyard and slams it onto the ground.

he bends down and punches the play button and instantly, classical music begins to fill his ears. he doesn't even bother to change the station before turning around on his heels and hastening back into house, making sure to slam the door shut behind him.

"i'm tired" he mutters to himself as his feet lazily drag him up the stairs and into his bedroom. he walks towards his unmade bed and wearily throws himself onto it. he doesn't even have a chance to blink before he passes out.
