I finally arrived in Korea. The long trip had my legs and butt sore. It felt good to finally walk and get some fresh air.

The place was lit up. People were everywhere and the aura was overwhelmingly happy. But not only was the aura happy, I obviously was too, with a huge immense jitter filling my insides. I clenched my suitcase and ran down to get a taxi for a nearby hotel.

I finally arrived at my hotel room. Despite the utterly beautiful view, the cost was surprisingly cheap. The best markets, however, were moderately far from the hotel.

I took out my clothes and hung them up in the small closet. I placed my small necessary knickknacks on the metallic glass nightstand. After a while of organizing my things, I grew rather hungry.

I pulled aside the curtains.

"Dang. It's so dark outside. But-" my stomach growled and I clenched my shirt.

"I need to eat~! I haven't eaten a good meal since I've gotten on that plane!"

I grabbed my red coat and put it on. I snatched my purse from the bed and rushed out.

The icy air hit my face, making me scrunch my nose. I never liked the cold, and walking in the dark scares me to death. But, desperate times calls desperate measures.

My phone started buzzing with messages. I scrambled through my purse searching for it and finally answered the messages from my mother.

As I was texting, I bumped into a person and tripped. All my belongings fell to the concrete.

"OUCH!" I exclaimed.

"A-ah! Are you alright? I'm so sorry!" A deep voice resounded. His large hands picked up my things and placed them in my purse. He then took my hand and lifted me up.

I brushed my tangled hair out of my face and looked at the stranger I bumped into.

"I'm so sorry. Are you hurt?" His hair was a bit tussled from the wind. He had a beige scarf that went well with his dark beige coat. His eyes were full of worry but had this hint of warmth.

"Y-yeah I'm okay" I shivered.

"Oh, you have a bit of blood on your knee!" He looked at my jeans.

"I'm okay. Don't worry!" I smiled.

He handed me my purse and said, "you're shaking. Where are you heading off to? I'm going to a coffee shop near from here. Please, come with me." He then smiled a bit.

My stomach growled louder and nausea was starting to take over. I was far from home to turn back with empty hands and stomach so I accepted.

We took a taxi to the coffee shop. We awkwardly sat beside each other, leaving a safe distance. Every once in a while, I took short glimpses at his face and then his hair. His eyes glistened with the city's lights. And, every once in a while, I felt his eyes on me too.

"So awfully quiet you too are huh?! Aish, young couples these days." The driver chuckled with smiling eyes. He looked at us through the rear view mirror.

I blushed and giggled, making the situation even more awkward. The guy that invited me to the coffee place joined in, laughing and then looked at me.
