Halloween Special

The night before Halloween. I've always liked spending this time watching television, especially the scary movie marathons shown on Syfy. 

Just about now, Jeepers Creepers began playing. The popcorn was popping in the microwave. A sea of blue light  from my TV drowned the living room and the kitchen. I watched the TV as I leaned on the kitchen counter, waiting for the microwave to ring. 

I grabbed the popcorn and made my way to the couches, bringing a full, 3 liter bottle of Pepsi with me. 

After watching a good amount of the movie, the channel went on a commercial break. I muted the TV and made my way to the bathroom.

As I made my way down the corridor, I heard the television unmuting. I ran into the bathroom.

I almost peed my pants... how did it unmute??

I began singing "I'll Make A Man Out of You" to calm myself down as I took care of my business. I washed my hands and opened the door. I looked back and quickly took the toilet wand as a self defense mechanism.

Don't freaking ask okay? I was freaking scared shizless.

My slippers make a weird squeaky noise as I walked down the corridor. I took them off and used one as another weapon.

It's called double wielding, you dorks.

I looked at the TV, another channel was on. A kids show, Halloween edition? 

My popcorn was there, untouched along with my half full Pepsi. I looked around the house. Nothing looked suspicious. 

Maybe I left the controller between the couch and it accidentally unmuted itself and changed the channel...

As I thought, there was the controller, between the couch. I plopped down, toilet wand and the singular slipper next to me. I hugged my soda and my bowl of popcorn and finished up the movie. 

The room was so dark as the credits began rolling. I grabbed the toilet wand and my slipper, casually walking down the corridor again yet attentively looking at my surroundings. I put the things away and headed back to the living room to clean up. The lights were still off but the room was lit up by the commercials. 

I opened the pantry when a body came out of it. 

"OH MY GOD." I yelled and kicked the body's face.

"HEY HEY HEY NO STOP OW." The dog next door started barking. 

I ran to turn on the lights to see Taehyung on the floor, wearing a full black bodysuit. 

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY KITCHEN'S CLOSET" I kicked him again, this time a lot more softly but hard enough to leave a bruise. 

"OUCH OKAY STOP" he yelled again and rubbed his rib. 

"Since when were you there."

"Since the movie began." said Taehyung. His groggy voice sounded really cute...

"What even Taehyung" I yelled, remembering that I only had a long t-shirt covering my body. I pulled it downwards and sped walked to my room. He got up and followed me. 

"You didn't even get out to scare me though." I laughed as I looked for pj bottoms in my drawer.

"Yeah I did. I scared you." He laughed proudly. 

"You looked asleep to me." I stook out my tongue. 

"I couldn't find the right time to scare you. I had to wait til you went to the bathroom but you ran there too quickly, I couldn't jump out."

"So you turned on the volume of the tv and then you changed the channel?" I questioned his tactic. 

"Okay so I did that to freak you out but then...Jeepers Creepers creeped me out even more so I changed the channel to a kids show." He explained, getting all quiet. 

"Taehyung, turn around." I said as I noticed that he was staring at me as I changed. His face was getting red and I was getting nervous. 

He obediently turned around.

"Anyways, what the hell are you wearing."

"Imma ninja." he said like a child, adding a little "hwa yah" and a karate chop movement. 

I laughed and I hugged him from behind. He took me by the arms and tried to wrestle me down like a ninja would. 

"I thought you were some stupid kid robbing me who fell asleep in my pantry." I snorted.

"(y/n), I've already stolen your heart, what else do I have to steal?" he whispered in my ear and gently placed me on the bed. 

"Just know you ain't using that for Halloween. We are shopping for new costumes tomorrow. Okay?" I said and smacked his head. I got up and took his hand.

"Let's watch another scary movie, but this time together."

"Alright."

Happy Halloween fellow derps. I hope you all have been well~ I don't celebrate Halloween but I do love feeling the fall vibes. I ate like four pieces of pumpkin pie yesterday with some egg nog mwahaha. It was so good! I need to get some more pie since I finished it all yesterday. I've also been watching scary movie marathons, especially Michael Meyers movies. And dang, it's been so cold out recently. I got myself a new black and white sweatshirt that says cool vibes on it ^u^. It reminded me of what BTS sorta used to wear in the No More Dream era. Anyways, what have you all been up to? Are y'all dressing up for Halloween? If y'all going out for Halloween, please be careful and be nice to others lol. If you don't celebrate it, then still have fun. Eat a lot of fall food and some coffee or something and get some time off for yourself and have fun! I love you all lots~
