All I wanted

Chapter Fourteen Part Two

"Eat it up." Carson said while tossing a plastic bowl into the cage. I look down to see a greenish color. It looked horrendous but I'm starving. I poured it into my mouth. Damn it was awful. But I haven't eaten in a couple of days so I really don't care. "You know April, you've been good these past few days. I might just let you out if you keep it up." I smiled. 

"Where would I go?" I asked picking at the cage. I hurt like crazy because of how small it is. But if I can get out of here boy am I going to have a party. He sat across from  the cage and crossed his legs. He thought for a minute.

"Probably over there were the chains are." He said pointing to the other side of the room. Not the best but its an upgrade from this. "Your excited huh?" He asked.

I nod my head causing hair to get in my face. He chuckled and did what I least expected. He opened the cage door and pulled me out gently placing me in his lap. "Your so beautiful." He whispered while tucking the strands of hair that was in my face behind my ear. "I'm glad your behaving. Then soon you can come back to laying with me in the bed."  It was silent for awhile, in till he got up while still holding and chained my ankles to the wall. "You can reach the bathroom which is right over there." He said and pointed to a door next to the cage. "And there is even a blanket and a pillow for you when you got to sleep."

"Thank you." I whispered. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close. "I'm going to head into town. Get some food and a little present for you for being good." He said and kissed the top of my head. And with that he walked up the stairs and out of the basement. I wonder what kind of present it is. I don't know I'm just happy to be out of that cage. After I would say a hour and a half. I found a rock. That's when I decided to draw with it on the pavement floor.  

After awhile I got bored so I went and checked out the bathroom. A gross looking toilet and a pink old bath tub. And there wasn't a sink. When I turned the knob for the hot water in the tub, nothing came out. Great I have a gross toilet that smells, a tub that dosen't give me water, and oh yea no sink. This is the life. Note my sarcasm. "Don't worry you'll like it here, I promise." I heard Carson say. What? 

I walked out the rachet bathroom  and found Carson standing next to a little boy. "April. Sweet heart, I want you to meet Josh. He's going to be staying with us." He waved at me and smiled showing his pearly whites and cute little dimples. Adorable. "Um hi Josh. Carson can I talk to you for a minute?" He noded and told Josh to look around.

"I know your proubly freaking out right now. But the poor kid was lost. I told him I would help him find his mom. And well he told me  he didn't have one. He's an oprhan." I sigh in frustaion. 

"So you decided to take him here?" He nodded and smiled at Josh who was looking down at something. 

"What's this?" I heard Josh pipe up in an cute voice. He pointed down on the ground. Carson walked over with me following  me behind. 

"It's a house with a boy and a girl holding hands." I say while bending down to look at what i did earlier." "It's beuatful. Hey April? Can I call you mommy? I've never had a mommy before." I look down at him. He had curly blonde hair and green eyes. 

"Of course you can call her mommy. Were a family now. The three of us."  Carson said while bending down beside me  so we were both at Josh's level.

"Daddy bear." Josh said while pointing to Carson. "Mommy bear,'' he then pointed to me. ''And baby bear." He said while pointing at himself. He giggled and huged me. I was shocked at first but hugged him back.

"Come on time to eat." He said and grabed a hold of Josh's hands. "Let's make you some dinner shall we. Don't worry April I be down and later and  give you some food." He said and closed the door behind him.

"Wait-." I was cut off by the door shutting in my face. God damn it Carson.

What is he thinking?

Hey so I did part of this chapter on the computer and part of it on my phone. I want be able to update till late next week. Cuz that's when I get the wifi back on. I hope you all liked this and if you read this in the comments i want you to put pancakes. Just because;) xoxo
